Three old friends were looking forward to a lovely dinner and catching up. The ambiance and the service were absolutely on point, the dining room is gorgeous and our wait person was one of the most professional and friendly we've encountered. Yet, unfortunately two of us did not enjoy dinner. The steak that one of us ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious. There was a problem in the kitchen with the fish and chips and they were promptly remade, and I believe one person didn't like the burger based on personal preferences only.

As a first timer, it seems to me that Bowman wants to be your upscale restaurant choice, complete with (unnecessary) valet parking. I would say they approach, but aren't quite, that. Everything is very good, but not the excellence of other nearby competitors, including mediocre wedding anniversary seating that put us near a passageway for wait staff. It was still an enjoyable night with very good low-key live music, good food, and a good waitress.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Food & service excellent & they even had live music. Liked that it wasn't in the hubbub of the area around the Bucks County Playhouse.

Food was very good but service was not good. After we sat down it took 20 minutes for our server to come over. We placed our order- appetizer, salad & entree. After another 35 minutes of waiting all the food arrived at once. Funny part is the restaurant was not crowded at all. It's too bad service was so bad because the food was very good. We will give it another try!

The entire dining experience at Bowman's is beyond exceptional! Their waitstaff's high degree of service and culinary knowledge is superb. The menu offers an extremely wide variety of selections. If you are anywhere near New Hope PA, having a meal at Bowman's is an absolute must.

I've eaten at Bowmans Tavern a number of times and it has always been very good. However, this meal was a big disappointment. My husband has a shellfish allergy and asked if the cod would be a problem. We were told absolutely not. As we waited for the main course we had the watermelon gazpacho, which had so much vinegar that it was almost inedible. We waited 40 minutes for our entrées when the waitress came up and said “oh by the way, you can't have the cod because it's been fried with oil that has been used for shellfish.” They brought my hamburger as they prepared his entree which must've been sitting the entire time we waited. It was lukewarm and the bottom bun very soggy. Very disappointing meal - a long and frustrating experience!

It took a very long time to receive our meals. The kitchen was apparently very backed up. We got there at 5:30 and it was empty, but somehow the rush of people after us got served before us. The staff was very nice and apologetic. Would love to come back when it is t quite so busy

Good food 🍱 and drinks 🍹 are to be found at this nice 👍 staple of beautiful 😻 downtown New 🆕 Hope. Though the real star 🌟 of the show is their wonderful music 🎵 of The Great American Songbook, presented live here on selected fine evenings .
The duck confit and is an excellent new addition to the menu. Michelle is the best! We are going to miss her smile and witty humor so much.

Cocktails were excellent especially the Bitchen Camaro! The Caesar salad and Lamb Meatballs were absolutely delicious as were the Seared Scottish Salmon, the Pan Roasted Rainbow Trout and the perfectly cooked House Cut Fillet. I thought the Crab Cakes had a little too much filler.

Had a quiet lunch on Friday just after they opened. Great sandwiches, excellent service. On a recent Saturday evening, 7 of us ate in a semi-private room in the back to celebrate my wife's birthday; great service and food, didn't get rushed. Easy to converse. The main room, however, was another matter: busy and noisy. Great spot!

A well thought out menu with many unique and delicious options. Healthy options too. Comfortable atmosphere with a great jazz vibe coming from the talented trio of musicians. The food was great, the service was on top of things. We will definitely recommend and return.
