This is hands down the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to in 25 years of eating vegetarian/vegan!! Honestly I think I could eat nothing but the lentil tartare the rest of my life and die happy, but everything on the menu is so incredibly delicious, nuanced, and well-executed that it's impossible not to try something new each time. As for the atmosphere it is incredibly welcoming, relaxed, and the outdoor space is a gorgeous (and fun - they have ping pong!) complement to the cozy indoor seating. The waitstaff are super friendly and make you feel personally welcomed, and they give the impression they actually enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there. The overall vibes are just very, very good. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Not your typical vegan place!

I have been there more than i would confess ;-)
Instead of trying to reproduce non vegan food, they create tasty, original delicious plates! Without kidding, each bite is a delight and i really want to taste the entire menu.
It comes with very good local brews and a friendly welcoming and open minded athmosphere. They will see us again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dharma Bums – What a Surprise!

We went to Dharma Bums yesterday with friends, and they totally tricked me — they wanted to see how long it would take me to realize the place was vegetarian. Honestly, it took a while because the food was that good.

Everything we ordered was incredible. The special pot pie was out of this world, the Bravas tacos were amazing, the K-Boy tacos were packed with flavor, and the edamame guacamole was unforgettable — creamy, fresh, and unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The Thai street fries were addictive, and the peach burrata was unreal. Even the kids loved their grilled cheese and had a blast playing bocce and ping pong outside by the fire pit.

Our waiter, Ben, deserves all the credit — one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Friendly, fast, and just a genuinely good person. He explained the menu perfectly, made the kids feel special, and even brought over a soccer ball for them to play with.

The place was packed, the vibe was great, the drinks were strong, and the food was seriously next-level for a vegetarian restaurant. Who knew this kind of place existed in New Hope, PA?

We’ll definitely be back — with the kids, the family, and anyone who loves great food, great people, and great energy. Thanks, Ben, for making it such a perfect day.

My new favorite place in New Hope/Doylestown area. Love the food. K boy tacos and street corns are absolute hit. Brussels Caesar is excellent. Can't wait to try more stuff on the menu.

Outside sitting is first come first serve. The servers are kind and hospitable. Love the vibe.

Went here to eat with my family and friends (I’m the only plant based eater) and everyone LOVED their food. Some of us got the tacos - Bravas and K-boy. Both were fantastic!! My parents got a special mushroom pot pie and they raved about how delicious it was. Drinks and the atmosphere were also great! Can’t wait to come back again soon.

The vibes at this joint are great! The food choices are really yummy. The portions are very generous for the price. I can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu.

The folks in that kitchen know how to actually cook with vegetables, and it really shows. You won't find any tired Impossible burgers or pasta marinara on this menu. It's all creative, fun, homemade veg food made by people who clearly put some thought into what they're serving. My first impression was with the Brussels sprout Caesar salad that came out with the romaine leaves arranged like a giant Brussels sprout, and it was undoubtedly one of the best-tasting salads I've ever eaten. I had the Laksa Tomato Sandwich as my entree, which truly blew my mind. Tomatoes and bread have no business being so delicious, but it nearly brought tears to my eyes. I'm still not quite sure what they did to make a tomato sandwich so mesmerizing, but I will probably be thinking about that sandwich until tomato season returns next summer. My husband had the cauliflower K-Boy Tacos, which were excellent. We did end up getting the vegan budino for dessert despite being very full...but it was worth it...and was insanely rich and huge. I can die happy now. At the end of the day, this place is the bees knees for sure. Sitting outside is blissful and ALL the menu is meatless and most of it is vegan (or veganizable). I cannot wait to go back because...yes...vegans, we actually could eat here every single day for WEEKS and not repeat a dish.

Loved the vegan menu. Local atmosphere and vibe. Bartender was quick and efficient. Cocktails were decent and in proper glassware.

POINT PLEASANT, PA: did you know there is a Point Pleasant in Pennsylvania? And it just happens to be home to an incredible spot, Dharma Bums Bar, recently named one of USA Today’s Top Restaurants of the Year!

Housed in a historic building, this vegetarian restaurant features an adorable dog friendly courtyard where we were warmly welcomed by Kate, our server. She gave us fantastic recommendations, brought Brie a water bowl, and was such a joy to chat with. The food is amazing, made with fresh ingredients and we especially loved the Brussels Caesar, Falafel Naan, and the unforgettable butterscotch budino for dessert. Many dishes can also be made vegan or gluten-free upon request.

The drool-worthy menu pairs perfectly with a great selection of hand-crafted cocktails, local draft beers, and wine. The courtyard itself is cozy and inviting, framed by a beautiful stone building and fully enclosed with a fence. Between the fire pit, ping pong tables, and relaxed seating areas, it is the perfect spot to unwind in a peaceful setting.

Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed to enter the indoor bar area to walk through to the courtyard. There are umbrellas at some of the tables and shaded areas to stay cool.
