Incredible.Food, service, ambience.No, George Washington did not eat there, the Torreys owned the place, they told George to hit the road. Denied him entrance, but you can stand in the doorway where he was told " No soup for you"! It's old, historical and right smack on the canal and the river.Fabulous views....Easy 5 stars. Get the Salmon. Say Hi to Sue!!
The Charleston Street crab never disappoints my husband. I had the fish and chip and while the fish perfectly cooked, it was really greasy which was off-putting. Otherwise always a lovely experience.
