Walking into my home town favorite bar after about 10 years and seeing Pumpkin behind the bar and nothing had changed, made me feel at home. This place is a pillar of the community and one of the last standing places that reflects New Hope before New York moved in. My heart is full. I won't wait so long before I come back home to visit.
You walk past this joint, and immediately your expectations drop from the look of things. Don’t be fooled!!
Nothing on the menu will disappoint. The bartenders know their business, just don’t be pretentious. J&P’s isn’t hip or chic, but it’s the best place to hang out, have a beer & food, and listen to some phenomenal live music. If you want to belong, then you’ll belong.
