It isn't often that I can write a glowing review. The food is delicious, service impeccable, and the atmosphere is romantic. I started with the baked oysters, which were delectable, in fact, I ordered a second order, and my husband had the tuna poke. Again, amazing! For our entrees, we ordered tuna & the Chilean sea bass. Done to perfection! We had a lovely sauvignon blanc. Before we decided on the bottle, we were offered and given tastes of other wine that we were curious about before we made our final decision. Dessert was divine, and we had a hot, delicious pot of coffee served in a French press. Rachael, our server, was attentive without being intrusive. The only concern we had was how soon could we return to this special restaurant. The unhurried, impeccable service & attention to detail surpassed our expectations!

This is one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had dining! We sat in the back patio amongst fresh flowers, vines, old iron gates, and the most romantic table for two with real candles burning! The food presentation was exquisite and everything tasted like a little piece of heaven! I had the Seabass and the octopus both were supreme! Kudos to the chef and staff!

From the charming entrance, draped in lush greenery to the cozy tables, softly illuminated by burning candelabras, this restaurant, exuded, warmth, intimacy, and even subtle sexiness. The food was delicious; the “small” menue was justified by the caliber of every bite. The extensive wine and cocktail options enhanced the meal perfectly. The service was stellar. Our waitress, Sophie, is a gem and management should note that she is a feather in their cap.
Food was incredible, very intimate setting. Cocktails were great, not a place for a quick in and out, perfect for a date night where you can take your time and enjoy. Staff was awesome!

I have two immune disorders and my husband and I dined there last night for my birthday and Alexis and all of her staff including our waiter were so very kind and accommodating! When I called beforehand to discuss our reservation she was so great about making sure we could eat outside in their absolutely romantic and gorgeous courtyard and she herself made sure we had a working heat lamp. Our drinks were great! Then came homemade rosemary bread with butter and truffle oil sun-dried tomatoes that was baked deliciously and served warm and we could have actually asked for more, and wow the sun-dried tomato spread was tasty! Everything was prepared to perfection with the most delectable sauces you wanted to lap up with the wonderful bread provided. The shrimp appetizer was grilled nicely and this restaurant has really stellar seafood and what appealed to us and we were not disappointed! I then chose for my main the tuna poke bowl with a slight substitution on the watercress for greens. I was assured it was a large enough portion to eat as a main. It actually was large enough I took a portion home but some might eat the entire thing and I had to force myself to stop eating when full it was so delicious! I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this dish! It was the best poke bowl I have enjoyed in my life and I have had many especially sharing and often tasting my daughters through travels many places. The tuna was prepared perfectly and once again the sauce had a toasted nuttiness with I think some sesame topping and it was just sooo yummy! My husband ordered the summer flounder and it too was really nice quality and soft, buttery, melt in your mouth seafood served on a bed of scrumptious whipped potatoes with a sauce I kept lapping up the bits he missed with my bread. Veggies were cooked perfectly. For dessert I chose the flourless chocolate torte which was brought to me with a sparkler atop as my sole bday cake this year which really really made the occasion special for me besides the escape-like romantic courtyard atmosphere! Lastly when the bill was presented two fantastic macarons were included with it. My daughters and I love high quality well baked homemade baked goods and have tried macarons from even supposedly good bakeries and always thought many times they were too dry with not enough flavor. These were different…pillowy and soft and quite flavorful! A nice palate-cleansing surprise finish to just a wonderful and complete meal!
We both agreed the meal was perfect! We cannot recommend this restaurant and their kind and helpful staff enough!

My husband and I went here for our 29th wedding anniversary last week and it was perfection! They have the cutest little bar area with the best drinks, the patio has such a romantic and intimate vibe, and the service is top notch. As for the food (which was outstanding), we had the Zoubi caesar and the oysters to start, and then we had the crabcake and the flounder. For dessert, we shared the pistachio cake and coffee. The sparkler on the cake was such a sweet touch. We are so glad we chose Zoubi to celebrate our special day! We can’t wait to go back!!! If you haven’t been, GO NOW!

Lovely garden setting on a mild evening. Service was very attentive without being intrusive or rushing us. The food was excellent with generous portions and attention to details. It looked beautiful, was the perfect temperature, and tasted so good that one would be tempted to lick the plate!

I posed my two kids in front of Zoubi to take a photo. We were standing there for less than 10 seconds and the manager came out of the restaurant to shoo us away. I was honestly lost for words since we weren’t obstructing the view of restaurant patrons, making any noise, or standing there for a long period of time. My husband and I usually dine at Zoubi when we have friends and family in town that want to hangout in the downtown area but we will obviously never be returning.
