“Wow, we are new to the area and found that we love this little place. We usually get takeout since it’s just a few minutes from home it’s always on the way. Lasagna, pizza, cheesesteaks and wings were all really good but the fajitas well now that was in a world of its own. It was everything I asked for and more. I like em American style and they came thru big time. Had myself a little fajita bar and it was the best guacamole I have had in a long time. So happy this is our little local pizza shop but it would be worth the drive.“

“Counter service pizza joint with sandwiches and all other sort of yumminess. There's about 10 tables in the back room for seating you just order at the counter and then sit down and they'll call you when your food is ready.

We ordered boom boom shrimp and a large neapolitan pizza. The food came out quickly and was hot and well prepared. The boom boom shrimp was really tasty.

Pizza is standard fare with fresh soft dough in the neopolitan style. Well priced. Three of us ate for $40 including tip.“

“Once you enter carinis restaurant you may be able to have a seat anywhere you want. There is always music on but if you have a specific song you want to listen to just kindly ask (Ben) the owner to play it for you and he will. Carinis has a good atmosphere and the food there is delicious. You don't wait long for the food to arrive. They serve desserts in the refrigerator which you are allowed to get and soda of your liking. There is a bathroom available and handicap entrance available. Parking in the front and side of the place. If you don't want pizza no problem Ben has fresh food made daily rice, beans, meats, salads, sandwiches, wings made daily. “Had dinner here. Menu was very large. They could reduce it and specialize in thing better. Dozen claims for $14. Problem is they were a little too large making them difficult to chew. Side salad was not just iceberg lettuce which was nice. Cuban panini could have had more meat. $.50 for extra pickle chips. Soft pretzels were very good. I had stopped by Domino’s to pick up a carry-out pizza, excited to grab my food and head home. What should have been a simple stop turned into a nightmare when I realized I had accidentally locked myself out of my car. No spare key. Phone in hand. Christmas Eve. Cold. Frustrating. And to make it worse, the store was extremely busy. Orders were flying, phones were ringing, customers were lined up — the exact moment when most people would understandably say, “I’m sorry, I can’t help right now.”

But John didn’t do that.

Instead of brushing me off or treating me like an inconvenience, John treated me with patience, dignity, and respect. From the moment I explained my situation, he genuinely listened. You could tell he cared — not just as a manager, but as a human being who understood how overwhelming and helpless it feels to be stuck like that.

Despite the chaos of Christmas Eve, John made time for me. He calmly assessed the situation and then did something I never expected: he gathered tools, explained everything clearly, and empowered me to get back into my car safely. He didn’t rush me. He didn’t make me feel foolish. He didn’t act annoyed. Instead, he encouraged me and reassured me the entire time.

Within 30 minutes, using the tools and guidance John provided, I was able to unlock my car successfully. What could have easily ruined my night turned into what I can only describe as a small miracle. And that miracle came from kindness — not obligation.

What stood out the most is how rare this kind of service is today. So often, people respond with indifference, excuses, or outright nonsense when something isn’t part of their job description. John did the opposite. He stepped up. He cared. He treated me like a person who mattered, not just another customer passing through.

And on top of all that — the pizza was still hot and tasted phenomenal. Even while helping me through a personal emergency, John never let the quality of service or food slip. That level of leadership sets the tone for an entire team, and it shows.

John represents everything customer service should be: compassion, professionalism, patience, and integrity. Domino’s is lucky to have a general manager like him. Experiences like this are the reason customers remember a place — not just for the food, but for how they were treated when it mattered most.
