Navigate New Wilmington's Mexican food scene with Restaurantji's recommendations.
“Such a phenomenal eating experience at Los Amigos. It is hard for a Mexican restaurant to rise above their competition but this restaurant certainly does that and more. A little further away from my home than I want but definitely worth the drive. Ocean enchiladas, yum!“
“We are big Mexican food connoisseurs and this place did not disappoint! We had the nachos texanos and the quesadilla barbacoa, both great portions and very authentic! Already looking forward to our next visit. Didn't even get a chance to take a picture before digging in. Great service as well! Definitely better than the other "chain" Mexican restaurants in the nearby area.“
“I was taken here by some family friends and it was my first time. We ordered Beef Steak Tacos, Jesus special, Chicken Fajita. I can’t tell you which of these was the best. They were all so amazingly super super delicious. Loved every bite I was taking if these. Sadly tummies have a limit or else I could have eaten this awesome food non-stop. To add to the already enjoyable food the owner and the server were so very friendly and kept a tab in us on a timely basis to ensure everything was perfect and so it was including the ambience. Would definitely go there many more times and highly recommend everyone to pay them a visit.“
“I'm not a big Mexican food fan, but the rest of the family is. As a group, we had tacos, burritos, fajitas, and more. No one complained about their food. We all enjoyed it. The place was clean and neat, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was a bit pricey but good. The parking lot and restaurant were wheelchair friendly. We will most likely visit it again.“
“Probably as authentic as it gets in PA. Good menu. Not the most updated- Facility looks a little intimidating but the food was good. Server was polite. Quiet. My kids loved the food - decent kids menu. Tacos, quesadilla, burrito, hamburger, fries, hotdog, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a slight ramp. Doors are not automatic. Might have some slight difficulty.“
“I really enjoyed my meal, and the atmosphere. Please realize I rarely give 5 star reviews, and you can't rate 4 and a half. We both had chimchangas, mine had a perfect crust, while my wife wished there was more chicken in it. They are very generous with the sausage, this is a good thing. They serve Coke products and I am a Pepsi man, but my ice was good. Even the dog loved their chips.“
“My husband and I love this place way more than the other chain restaurant that serves similar stuff. When you sign up for the rewards program and can earn free items the more you eat there. They even have a special offer on your birthday. The food is always fresh and they have several sauces to try. The queso is so yummy with the “
“Today is Wednesday 10/25/23. The new wheelchair accessible ramp was completed today and we were able to take our friend who is wheelchair bound INSIDE for the first time! The owner Dave came over to us and said “How nice it was to see him able to come inside!” We appreciate the inclusion of wheelchair accessibility more than you know! THANK YOU DAVE!Wheelchair accessibility: See above“
