I just had the best tuna melt of my life at Spread in Mount Pleasant.
The service and the food are both absolutely 💯 excellent. Best cream cheeses I’ve EVER had. It was hard to choose, but I was given a sample of the two I was going between which has never happened before. Everything is made to order— eggs, bacon. Even the bagels are baked in a wood fired oven before our eyes. The teammember who took and filled our order was so kind, accommodating, and patient—I wish I knew her name. Thank you for such a lovely and delicious breakfast.

Spread Bagelry is a new spot in Newtown Square that offers fresh bagels and great coffee. Although the coffee sizes are small, the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place to hang out with friends or do some work. With a variety of bagel selections, including the Philly special with Egg bagel, it's definitely worth the experience. The outside seating area is a nice touch, but be prepared to spend around $20-$30 for two people. It's more of a special occasion eatery, but worth it for the quality.
