The owners of this restaurant are vegan and the menu has an abundance of options. Vegan food is certainly not an afterthought here and our server highlighted several vegan specials and options right off the bat.
Although I was torn between several intriguing dishes, I decided on the Vegan Chicken Marsala as this was a meal I enjoyed growing up which I have never seen veganized. All I can say is... wow, it truly blew me away!!! The sauce was perfect, the vegan chicken was tender...
I was randomly in this town and found Cafe con Leche. I’m vegan so I decided to get some lunch. SO GOOD! I had an amazing soup (actually took extra to go), quesadillas and dessert to go. It was all so yummy! The service was also great. I just wish I lived closer! Would definitely recommend!
This restaurant never fails to impress. We enjoy introducing friends to this restaurant that we have been coming to for many years (probably should eat there more often). The food is always good and being a BYOB has definite advantages. We rarely have room for dessert but the vegan chocolate cake is one of the best. On a side note, our son and vegan daughter in-law are weekly customers of LUV in Hatboro.
