The food is amazing, but the service and bartenders are far from great. The drinks take forever and they’re not right half the time. If you order a Long Island it won’t taste the same twice. Pints of beer aren’t filled to the top. I wish I could add a picture of my beer. I think they might be understaffed also. OH, and the bathrooms are horrendous.
This is a great place to grab some food or try their great pizzas. Over the late spring and summer months you can eat outside. The staff is always friendly. They always have the games on and you can also jump in and play a game of billiards. Prices are extremely competitive and doesn't break the bank. This is one of the last classic home town bars left in this area of Newtown. Definitely worth a stop if your in the area.
The take-out side is clean, friendly employees. I had 3 crab cake sandwiches that came with fries, chips or coleslaw. The crab cakes were huge and delicious. There is a bar on the other side of the building. If you're driving that way TRY THEM!!!!
