Crab cake sandwich was mushy and tasted fishy and old. Both my companion and I mentioned this to our server who was nice, but slow and inattentive. He did take both meals off our bill, which I appreciated. Won’t be goin back though. I am not paying their exorbitant prices for lousy food.

Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant is huge, has a nice atmosphere, and they change their menu every season, which keeps things interesting. The food was good, but almost every dish could have used a little more salt to really bring out the flavors.
The only real disappointment was the drinks. One of them tasted overwhelmingly strong, almost like bleach, and we couldn’t even finish it because it was so overpowering.
Other than that, I think it’s definitely worth trying at least once. With a few small improvements to the seasoning and cocktails, it could be an even better experience.

Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar is hands down one of the best restaurants in the Newtown area. From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing night out.
A special shoutout to Brian, our server. He was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely made our experience even better. He checked on us at the right times, had great recommendations, and made us feel like valued guests. Service like his is hard to find.
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, was beautifully presented, and was packed with flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. The wine and cocktail selection was excellent as well.
If you’re looking for amazing food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar. Ask for Brian if you get the chance—you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Flatbread was awful. It’s a thin wafer/cracker with a thin layer of cheese
1st visit for our wedding anniversary. Disappointed with BBQ chicken I ordered, overcooked and dry. My other half had eggplant parm which tasted very good but pasta was on mushy side. Considering the prices here I would expect the food to be excellent. That it wasn't was disappointing. Service and ambience was great but I can't eat that.

I booked Harvest for Father’s Day Dinner for my family of four. This is after several positive experiences there over the last few years. The atmosphere and vibe tonight, I would describe as grumpy and rushed. The check in person was fairly flat and dismissive. We were sat promptly but I was surprised it was not busier for Father’s Day.
Our server was fine but just all business. She did not refill drinks (water etc) or ask us how our meal was going. My daughter ordered a filet and the sever said “do you want that with onions and mushrooms” she phrased it as though this is how it’s always prepared. She said yes. Come to the bill for the $8 up charge for onions and mushrooms taking the filet from $43 to $51 on the bill. This also happened with my husband’s strip steak which he didn’t love and it took his meal to $55 from $47 on the menu list price. These were surprised on the bill.
Both cuts of meat required a ban saw to hack into and they don’t give steak knives apparently so the upgraded butter knife, literally, did not cut it.
My lamb was good enough with a very good complimentary sauce. The apps were good - Korean dumplings and lettuce wraps. Overall, for a special occasion, we were disappointed and won’t be rushing back.

Everything was great, with the exception of the acoustics, which for those of us with slightly diminished hearing can make conversation a bit difficult.
If you are looking for gluten-free food and want to bring your puppy, this is a great place. There is a lot of seating on the patio for you and your dog.
Our server, Claudia, explained that since they make everything fresh, almost anything on the menu could be tweaked to be gluten-free. Awesome.
We started off with some Sangria flights that were delicious. Especially the Rose. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos gluten-free, and my girlfriend had the Cuban Black Bean bowl with chicken breast. The portions are big enough that we could have split a meal, and they were delicious. We did take a gluten-ease pill beforehand JIC and had no issues.
We always go here and enjoy our meals every time. Yesterday we ordered a wedge salad with steak. The steak was so overcooked and rubbery. My daughter ordered the sesame chicken with literally no jasmine rice. We asked for more on the side, it was never received.

I have been to harvest many times. This time was a not the greatest in taste and doneness. I got a free dessert for not eating some dishes.

The food here is awesome. I was skeptical trying something called cauliflower wings.. but they were amazing. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is good however noisy by the bar and I didn't really like sitting by the kitchen. To open an exposed.

We came in without reservations, and the host told us no tables are available, try at the bar. We did. During the entirety of our 2 hr stay, multiple tables around us were free, including a small 1 for 2 people right next to us I inquired about and was told not available. Ordered a flatbread which was good, Buffalo Cauliflower wings, which were very good, a burger was delicious, and fries that were horrible, very dry flavorless large chunks of potato, considering the level of this restaurant and $9 price tag.
