Beer prices not on the menu? Then $9.50 charge per beer for a basic IPA!? What a ripoff! Will not be back!

Arrived at 12:50 for a late lunch. Apparently they didn't want us to mess the place up because there were three empty booths in the bar where we wanted to sit, but were told we couldn't. We were ushered to a far corner of the building. I'm writing this review in case no one ever hears from us again.? More later!
Now two ladies came in. They were escorted through a sea of empty tables and around a corner and placed right next to us. Apparently they did not like the small two-top (like ours) and asked to be moved, so they were placed at a four-top right next to us on anther side. Fifteen minutes later an elderly lady came in on a cane and was escorted through the building and placed at the two-top next to us. Apparently they don't want people to see their guests. On the upside, Kayla is a spectacular server, quick, courteous, and thorough. Also, the Korean Barbecue Chicken Sandwich is a winner and the Reuben is very nice!

We visit about six times a year and the food and service has been acceptable but never above average. Last week I decided to have something different and chose the jerk chicken. When served we were impressed by the large serving, but it had a very odd odor and I passed it off as part of the seasoning. The taste was awful and after two bites of chicken decided stop eating. A short time later, my stomach ached and experienced a terrible headache which lasted for hours. We will not go back.

A great place to hang out, have some great food and drinks and enjoy the company. The atmosphere is nice, so it'll be perfect for date night. There's a small parking lot in the back of the building.

If you are a local, regular patron, come on in. If you aren’t, this establishment couldn’t care less about you.

Dropped in to this bar back in June with family to grab a drink to toast our mom after having attended a memorial service to honor her memory. It was busy, but not overly so. We ordered drinks (service was slow and indifferent) and hung out in the bar. there were a number of tables available, but when we attempted to sit down were told that we couldn’t, with no explanation.

Not long thereafter, others who seemed to be friendly with the manager (owner?) were seated at the tables. There were 20 of us. Paying patrons, and not causing ANY issues. If we had not already ordered our drinks, we would have left to go find another place to celebrate mom.

Perhaps the staff has had one too many apples fall on its heads.

Isaac Newtons WAS one of my husband and my favorite restaurants to go to, until we had kids. We lived in another state the past few years and today was our first day back after moving back home. We were excited to take our toddler and newborn, we went in early to do lunch to not inconvenience anyone. We brought our stroller since the baby is so little to rock to sleep (IYKYK) he’s only six weeks old. They told us “no strollers upright due to insurance purposes” we have never heard of this from a restaurant, from all the restaurants (and we go out to eat a lot) in the last 3 years of having kids, it almost sounds like an excuse not to allow people to push their strollers inside their establishment. Makes me wonder can people in wheel chairs be upright and come inside? We are dying to know what the line in the insurance policy says regarding upright infants in strollers. So we went down the road to a different restaurant PINEVILLE TAVERN and they said “we don’t have any weird rules avoids strollers come on in”

Food is ok. It’s bar food. Couldn’t drink my disgusting beer (either old or just very bad) but they would not give me a refund. Probably never coming back to this place.

Will not be back. Recently dined in with my mom, she ordered the crab cakes which came out so small and so clearly had been frozen for quite some time. They were dry and crumbled when you touched it, even the veggies on the side were almost raw and tough to eat. We told the server and her only response was "that's how they're made. I can bring you melted butter?" So my mom tried and it was still inedible. Finally, the server agreed to have the manager to remove it from our bill. When our server brings back our bill, the manager would only take off $15 since my mom ate some of her sides... We both were shocked and had never seen that reaction from an establishment. We went to the manager and her response was "well you ate some of it..." And my mom pushed back and said that's such a disgrace to treat your paying customers like this. Again the manager comes back with, "food is expensive I'm not sure what you want me to tell you". FINALLY we got her to take off the whole meal after having to fight with this women. I have never seen such an unprofessional manager. Treat your customers with respect and compassion or get out of this profession? Get your kitchen staff to cook with standards and fresh ingredients? Inspect food before sending it out? So many options she could take to make sure they NEVER have to comp a meal, yet somehow it's the customers fault she has no standards.

The management and kitchen need to be inspected and brought up to better standards. This is Newtown. You're embarrassing yourselves.
