Good ice cream.
Ice cream is amazing, by far. However, customer service and deliverance could be way better. Staff aren't the friendliest. There is also no system for grabbing your order - no names called or number system. You have to stand there and guess which is yours. It becomes difficult when other customers who ordered after you assume your order is theirs leading to confusion and missing orders. For example, a couple who ordered AFTER us assumed two of our orders were theirs. The other customer grabbed both and realized they weren't his. Once another customer touches something that isn't theirs it should be an automatic thrown in the trash, especially once fingers touch ice cream. We asked for another order to be made due to this occurrence and received a snarky remark from an employee. Aren't you all safe serve certified? Overall, I recommend a system be created to make picking up your order more efficient and seamless.
Delicious!
Cute little ice cream shop tucked away on the outer edge of a busy plaza. It has a small town feel to it and was very quiet. I was surprised with the nice relaxing outside deck to sit and eat. We didn’t try the waffles this time, but the strawberry shake, pistachio ice cream and chocolate cream were all delicious. Will be back to try the waffles on another night!
We have enjoyed the ice cream and waffles over the years but the Newtown location has consistently been very poor customer service. You would think an ice cream shop would make people happy but that is not the case. It seems as if nobody enjoys their job there. I am so sorry to have bothered you.

We have ordered scoop of sea salt caramel and dairy free egg free coconut raspberry ice cream. The ice cream was pretty decent , the coconut raspberry flavor was interesting, to have an ice cream which is dairy free to have a nice taste was surprising. The waffle cone could have been better , was missing a lil bit of crunchiness . The ice cream texture could have been more rich and luxurious. The thing which I missed was that the place did not have many chocolate flavored ice-creams.
I would try this place when in the area for sure. Next time may be we will try having ice cream with their waffles.

I tried the gluten free s'mores waffle. The waffle was not hot and was way too dry. Not worth almost 10 bucks! Not even worth 5 since I barely ate it. Order at your own risk!

I love Nina's Waffles and Ice Cream in Peddlers Village, so I figured I'd give this a try to order my husband's birthday cake. I placed the order 4 days in advance (they request at least 72 hours). Their online order system would not accept any of my cards (kept declining them), so I had to place the order over the phone. At first the girl was confused as to how to take a phone order, but called her manager who told her to take all the information and they would process it from the back end. I asked her to please confirm with me that the order will be processed so I'm not left without a cake on Saturday. She called me the next day and assured me it was confirmed and the charge showed up on my card. The cake was $50, but I love their ice cream so I figured it was worth it. When I had gone Saturday to pick up the cake at the ice cream stand, I was told it wasn't there. The girl called her manager and they said that " I can come back in 40 minutes and the cake will be there". I had company coming over and I had asked her to please refund me for the cake, I will pick up a Carvel cake, unless they can deliver it to my home. The Manager delivered it to my house and gave us a $15 gift card as an apology for the error. I do appreciate the effort to get us our cake, but how do you not have a small $50 cake ready at the store for pickup when the order was placed well in advance? What if I was on my way a the party 20 minutes away and the cake wasn't ready? Also, the ice cream was delicious, but the "cake" in the middle was more like a soft cracker, not cake. The brownie at the bottom was delicious but impossible to cut, so the cake was toppling over as we cut, it was a mess. Again, very good, but I won't be ordering a cake from there again. I also don't like how its all enclosed and you can't see inside or talk to the manager (everything is via text or phone, you feel "shut out" if there is a problem and the young girls there are unsure of what to do they have to text their managers and wait for a response by text). Again, delicious ice cream and they did the right thing in the end, but I'm not rushing back anytime soon. Also, last year when I was a class parent for a local elementary school, I bought a $25 gift card for a basket we were making for our annual fundraiser. I asked if they were willing to donate some cookies or a few brownies, etc to fluff out our basket and the owner declined. All of the other businesses we bought from happily donated swag, chocolate, coupons for free ices, etc. This was a turn off for me, as well.

I tried the banana Oreo ice cream, as well as the double espresso crunch ice cream on a waffle. It was way better than I was expecting. The waffle was warm and had some buttery syrup sauce on it underneath the ice cream. The girls working there were so friendly and the atmosphere is calm, quiet and clean.

That peanut butter high oh boy! One of the most amazing things ever! You don't miss a single bite of peanut butter. The lady who made this master piece Sasha, was also very kind and polite. Highly recommend
