Best spot in Newtown. Other restaurants should aspire to provide the level of service, quality of food, and fanatic atmosphere you get dining at Relic.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options

So beautiful! I'm from the hoods of Bushwick NY and the area alone had me without words. The Relic is absolutely amazing. Especially the bartender, Simone, she's AMAZING!! Very attentive, personable, and simply sweet. Her sangria was off the hook and I can make drinks. She made it better than me ? This was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last.

We went to Relic for a birthday brunch and had a wonderful time! The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The service was excellent - very well attended and friendly. Highly recommend - we'll be back

From the moment we walked there the door, we were warmly greeted. We were early for our reservation and the manager said we could wait in the lounge till he got our table set. The lounge was quite crowded so we opted to wait outside so the manager offered to get us drinks while we waited. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was so delicious and perfectly prepared. Upon leaving the restaurant, we received a warm friendly goodbye as well. What a treat ti experience this wonderful restaurant!

Just moved in around the corner and walked over for dinner. Great service and atmosphere. Live Frank playing in the background. Lobster gnocchi was great. The chicken scarpariello good flavor but chicken was way overcooked. It will not prevent us from going back. Figure it was just a bad chicken cooking day.

It's just not worth the price. We started with 8 oysters, two of which tasted off. The salad was fine. My pork chop was very nice, but the creamed spinach wasn't; it was just chopped baked spinach with some cheese on top, and pretty flavorless. The mashed potatoes were fine. Our server was also nice and friendly. The decor was authentic historic. The table beside us had 2 business bro's in love with each other and preening to impress a woman who could have been their daughter. They were loud and swearing. Overall, lots of people with more money than taste trying to show off. The bill was more than $200 and I could have made a much nicer meal at home. Just not worth it.

Very lovely evening to celebrate a family birthday. The food was exceptional. Fresh and delightful. Good wine selection. The ambience was so so nice. Intimate feel. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion. One disappointment was that nothing was done to acknowledge my husband's birthday. I made sure to state that on my reservation. Something small would have made a huge impression.

First time there. Very nice evening. Appetizers were excellent and tasty service was excellent. Just a little disappointed with main course. We both had the halibut which was lukewarm. The brussels sprouts were too sweet as was the sauce on the fish less sugar and more heat would've made it a perfect evening, we will go back.

What can be said about a restaurant that makes you feel so welcomed that you feel you are at home? Rarely, can it be said that multiple visits to a restaurant have all been spectacular. From the greeting when entering the establishment to the first interaction with your server, you feel like a relative is greeting you. Enter the fabulous food and it becomes a heavenly experience. I don't usually bother with reviews but I couldn't let this one pass.

Relic far exceeded expectations. We were upstairs- the room was elegantly appointed, dimly lit, pairing rustic stone with contemporary. Our drinks, a mule and an Hawaiian Margarita were exceptional. Our salads, house and wedge were excellent. We had the pork chop, hanger steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus. All excellent. We ended the evening with French press coffee and cheesecake. Perfect end to the meal. Great music played softly. We would happily recommend Relic and can't wait to return.

We had a party of four and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the halibut, my wife had and my buddies wife had the hanger steak while my buddy had the pork chops. We also had oysters and a side dish of cream spinach. Everything was very good
