If you want to eat something delicious, come to the Chilanguita Mexican Cuisine ! Today they are haviing exceptional dishes! Tacos de Al Pastor, Gorditas, Quesadillas, Panbazos, Machetes ( Real huge Quesadillas with your favorite meat! And delicious Mexican Drinks as a courtesy. They are amazing! Margaritas and Mezcalinas! Street corn as well as courtesy!
Come and enjoy!
These are the worst neighbors to have in Norristown. Way better food and vibe at El Primo across the street. Don't waste your time. I wish I could give zero stars.
El Primo across the street is far better.
Great food great employees love love

I always wondered how people know where they get food poisoning from. As I sit here with my insides wanting to be on the outside, I realize the ONLY food I had yesterday was from this establishment. I had an early lunch and then ate the leftovers for dinner. The food was ok, but I wouldn’t recommend the food poisoning that comes with it.

Incredible! Lots of places claim to serve “authentic” Mexican food, but none come close to the flavors and atmosphere of La Chilanguita. True to its name, it feels like a restaurant that you’d find in the streets of Mexico City! Our friendly server greeted us and quickly brought us a pan of chips just like you’d get in Mexico — thicker than usual for the US, crunchy, and slightly chewy — topped with beans and cheese and served with salsas verde (fresh with a bite) and roja (liquid fire). I had the milanesa de pollo (chicken breast pounded super thin, breaded, and fried), served with tortillas, a plate of fries, beans, rice, and salad. Hubs had alambres de pollo and very much enjoyed it. I wanted an horchata and, at the servers recommendation, we had and loved the horchata de fresa (which comes in a small size — not on the menu!). I wanted to try a dessert, but we were stuffed and brought home leftovers. All this with tip for a little over $50! 90% of the other customers appeared to be Latine, an indicator that this place is legit! We’ll definitely return!

The ambiance here is as authentic as it gets. The food and drinks were top notch as well. I recommend the Enchiladas Suizas!
