I went to Jamaica in 1990! I heard about Taste of the Island from a friend. Sturdy was my wife’s birthday we had a surprise party. I drove 25 Minutes each way to the Restaurant! Simply wonderful the Staff was very friendly helpful and the food was delightful… Everyone at the Party Loved it! A ++ for Authentic Jamaican in USA!
First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! We got the oxtail, a wing, rice with beans and Mac and cheese and it was all delicious. Definitely going back to try more but earlier in the day when they have more options available.
Awesome food for good price. Chicken curry. Oxtail, fish. Jerk chicken. You craving Jamaican food go here. Next year for our Holiday party I will be looking to go here for catering order. This is a takeout place so no seating that I know of.
