“This is the best chicken I've tasted is long time I don't worry if it's cooked right , it's always cooked right, and tastes awesome,, the workers are very pleasant. If you want good food go to north Versailles hook fish and chicken. Great food.“
“The food is good, the chicken, whiting fish and crab cakes, the French fries are awesome, and coleslaw with a Lil sweet taste like I like it! Very good. You get a lot on the small order! 3 peices of fish! Pretty big peices. My husband ate some the next day with some grits, I got 2 crab cakes which is only a small platter with fries and coleslaw and 2 pieces of bread. I ate only one of my crab cakes.“
“Ate on the patio. Three of us and our dog. The food was great as was the service. We had perogies, huluski, cabbage roll, pulled pork, and Italian beef. It was all excellent. They not only allowed our dog, the server even offered to bring her water. Give Bubbas a try. Highly recommend.“
“This is my favorite comfort food place in Pittsburgh. They have amazing seasoning, I recommend asking for some on the fries as well. The wings and catfish are my favorites from here, but I also like their other dishes like the meatball panini. Also the coleslaw is some of the best I’ve had. I don’t live in Pittsburgh anymore but every time I go back I order food from here. They also have homemade desserts which are great, the chocolate brownie is my favorite but my girlfriend likes the Oreo cheesecake. The owners are also extremely nice and will accommodate your order as best they can. If you like comfort food and you are in Pittsburgh you must try K&T’s!“

“You gotta try the local food spots when you visiting new cities! They are hidden gems. Local and friend suggested Hook Fish and Chicken. They are multiple locations in Pittsburgh and OH. This is definitely a local gem.The location I visited was off Fifth Ave not too far from Carlow University, which is where we were dropping our kid off at college. I heard the chicken and catfish were really good and you get your money worth. There was free parking. No place to eat inside just seats for waiting. Cash only!! There is an ATM inside the restaurant.Staff was friendly. I kept adding on to my large order. Gotta fed the kids. Lol! They cook to order so nice hot, fresh food! Fries were seasoned and delicious. Catfish and oysters were really good. Catfish had just right amount crisp to the nuggets. Oysters good as well. My dad said the shrimp were good. I haven't been able to eat shrimp lately. My son said the chicken wings were really good. Cole slaw was decent and I normally do not eat that out but it was.The staff was nice. The location had ample parking. Nice portion size for money paid. Food was really good. The only downside which I think is universal was fries not good in microwave layer. Wish I had my airfryer to bring them back to life. Anyway, check out Hook in Pittsburgh!!“
“Ive been driving by this place for a while now and finally stopped by, and WOW... Im very pleased I did! They cooked my Catfish Bites and Chicken Tenders fresh and fast. Im kind of a snob when it comes to fried food, and theirs is truly worth the stop in, and the amount of food they gave me was very generous. SEROUSLY... check them out!“
