“Attended a funeral luncheon for my best friend's father. Food was very good and wait staff was very attentive and helpful. My first time there even though I grew up in DELCO and just a few miles down the road. I'm sorry I missed out for so long!“

“Great location to avoid chain restaraunts! An Irish pub on a corner in residential area of Fairmount. Traditional fare and one of the best pours of Guinness in the area! Our favorite was Donegal fries (image shown). Even the regular fries that came with our meals beyond expectations! Looking forward to return!“

“I actually do not usually do restaurant reviews, but was so please with Con Murphy that I felt like I had to share. I feel like there are many restaurants in Philly, and this one deserves more attention. We were day-tripping Philly and enjoy seeking out the local Irish pubs. We were charmed by the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere! It was noisy and small, in a fun and happy way. The TWO bars were well-stocked. We came with the family and everyone was pleased. We started with the Parmesan Truffle French Fries and they were exemplary especially paired with the Aeoli. The blackened Grouper sandwich was "sublime" according to my son who works at a restaurant! My daughter didn't prefer the crust thinness of the flatbread, but enjoyed the potatoe soup. The Irish fare was well done. My son ordered the shepard's pie and my husband and I both ordered the beef stew. I am picky of "Irish Food" bc so many places do not give it the attention it deserves, but everything was prepared beautifully. If you like very rich, decadent broths and hearty, meaty portions, then the stew is for you. The bread it was served with was unbelievably flavorful and had a tender center and crusty exterior. The stew tasted like it had slow-cooked for hours and did not dissapoint. I ordered the "Tullamore Gold" cocktail and it was a tad sweet, but flavorful. I wish I had paired a red wine or whisky with the stew. My husband had a canned apple cider which was tasty.“

“We had a bunch appetizers (potato skins, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, cheesesteak egg rolls) and they were all very good. The server was very polite and let us have a big table for our big group split up between the table and bar. We asked them to let us know if they needed to break up our big table and take any of the tables away, and they did, very politely, when it got more crowded. It was a very good experience. I will definitely go there again.“

“It's a pretty pretty good happy hour with half off drinks. But last time I was there the bartender took so long to give me my check that I left a five and walked out. I hope I left enough. Oh well if I get banned, there are so many other bars that I won't be disappointed.“

“We enjoyed some delicious French toast early Easter morning. Free street parking on Sunday, so that was convenient. Service was top-notch, Irish sausage was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, French toast was yummy! The ambiance isn't very Hibernian, which was disappointing, but I would go back for the food and the service.“

“I hosted a 40th birthday for my husband with 70 guests. Kelly was incredibly helpful with planning a menu that fit my budget. The food staff far exceeded every expectation. Everything was always full and no one had to ask for anything! Chelsea and Eamon were fun and fast bartenders. The party was great, the food was wonderful and they even took care of the music! Everyone had a blast! The party room was gorgeous and private and our guests loved the firepits outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill and plan to come back for our next event. Can't say enough good things!“

“My waitress Kathy on 2/18/2024 is what made this a 5 star rating across the board. She had several tables, but took the time to give some extra care to a table with a mom traveling with two small children. Meanwhile still managed to give a smile an excellent service to myself and 7 other tables. Overall outstanding customer service and Kathy was the driving force behind that.“
