“My friends and I have lunch here about 5 times a year before attending shows at the Walnut. The food at Moriarttys is consistently good and our usual waitress, Nicky is the best. Nicky treats us like family and we just love her.“

“We stumbled into this wonderful place cold, hungry and exhausted. The wonderful lady at the door, who turns out to be the owner, welcomed us with open arms and began to search for a table. We had to wait a few minutes so she got us 2 stools to sit on while we ordered our beer. Minutes later our table was ready! We ordered the Guinness Casserole and left nothing on that plate! She came over to check on us and saw that we had no soda bread and got us a plate full. We boxed a few pieces to take back with us to enjoy at breakfast. As we left we thanked her and I told her that everything was FANTASTIC and showed her the bread we were going to take home! She then took the box and filled it for us so we had enough for long drive home! I will come back anytime I'm in Philly. I have told all my friends and family to come here. It is a wonderful place. “Their wings are different, different good. They are soft, not my normal, but they pull off the bone so easily. I had two orders back to back. The first order was cooked perfectly, second needed a tad bit more time, but they were still good. Butter cake is out of this world good. Another patron told me to try, and he steered me to heaven.“

- Nice beers and ciders on tap
- Bar area and a few rooms

- Wanted to try the philly cheesesteak egg rolls which sounded great, but didn't get to

Lowlights:
- Was expecting more of a crowd super into the game, but it was pretty tame. Though it was a weekday afternoon“
