“My husband and I heard of this bar through word of mouth, all expectations were met, great bar, great atmosphere, great service, excellent food, very clean. We had the privilege of meeting the owners, they were very personable and friendly, along with staff. We will definitely be going back and that is something worth noting because we are 60+ miles away. We highly recommend stopping by, you won’t be disappointed.“

The place is really cool with a grill behind the bar so you can watch food being cooked while your drink is made - really novel. The seating is a little unique as well: I don't think they have a formal host or hostess, but instead you grab a waitress's attention and she helps find you a spot to sit; bar seats are always up for grabs, if open.

The staff is awesome - quick to help, friendly, and able to offer solid advice on the menu. The food though - it's fantastic! The burgers are juicy and delicious, the wings are cooked just the right amount and come with the right amount of sauce, you know what I mean - not drenched but not dry as a bone either.

Bottom line: highly recommend for a whiskey and burger.

Parking: It appears there is both a front and back lot to park in. It was night so I only saw the front, but there were spots readily available despite the business being very busy

Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs you have to climb, at least in the front, in order to enter the building. Also really tight inside. I would not recommend to someone in a wheelchair.“

“It is what it is. It's Hess's. I've been going to this place whenever I was living back home since I've been old enough to drink. Bartenders are all great especially if you know them. My only complaint is that it's smokey. I'm not a smoker but whenever I'm there I end up lighting up just because I feel like I'm breathing it anyway so I might as well.“

“Stumbled into this locals bar after hours while on a business trip. Got there in an Uber and it looked like no one was there - no cars in the parking lot. Surprised when we went in and found people! It is a dive Smokey bar- but the people were so friendly and welcoming. They have a jukebox you can control with your smart phone. Had such a good time here, we came back a couple of nights later - saw many of the same faces from the previous visit. Fun two nights“

It's great to seat yourself and order via QR code - you can come and go as you please. The bluegrass brunch was a fun, lively atmosphere and we've also happened upon Karaoke Night. We try to visit any time we're in town.“

“I've been to Hogs Hallow Saloon a few times and always was great food. I decided to have them cater my son's 30th birthday party. They delivered the food and everything was so awesome. Everyone at his party were amazed how great the food was. I had numerous people ask where did you get this delicious food. When I told them they said I be going to visit Hogs Hallow.
