“It is what it is. It's Hess's. I've been going to this place whenever I was living back home since I've been old enough to drink. Bartenders are all great especially if you know them. My only complaint is that it's smokey. I'm not a smoker but whenever I'm there I end up lighting up just because I feel like I'm breathing it anyway so I might as well.“

“I absolutely adore this restaurant! Our waitress, Abby, was fantastic and kept us well-hydrated with our drink refills ?. I tried a delightful cocktail called The Eddie, which is a must for anyone who loves mint chocolate chip ice cream! For our appetizer, we ordered the Firecracker Shrimp; it was tasty, but I think I'll explore other options on my next visit. The guys enjoyed the Ranger Burgers and raved about their deliciousness. As for me, I opted for the Baked Haddock, and it was simply amazing!“

“Stumbled into this locals bar after hours while on a business trip. Got there in an Uber and it looked like no one was there - no cars in the parking lot. Surprised when we went in and found people! It is a dive Smokey bar- but the people were so friendly and welcoming. They have a jukebox you can control with your smart phone. Had such a good time here, we came back a couple of nights later - saw many of the same faces from the previous visit. Fun two nights“

“The food was very good. We were in a large party that sat at the bar and I cannot say enough about the service. Some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The beer was fantastic and the bar people could not have been more helpful and nice.I was on vacation and I live 3 hours away but I will absolutely be back. I didn't get to meet the brewmaster Tim, but the man is a genius wizard!“

“First trip to Marley’s tonight. Waiter was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. While we were waiting for our food, we got a phone call stating that there was storm damage at our home. We quickly changed our order to a to-go after. He put a rush on our food and wished us good luck as we scurried out the door. Needless to say, we had a candlelight dinner that was excellent, even after sitting in to go boxes. The wings were exceptional as were the cheesesteak and brisket sandwiches. We will be back for sure (and hopeful get to dine in). Thank you again for going above and beyond.“

“We’ve been to Jerseytown several times to dine in and have never been disappointed. The wait staff has always been very kind and efficient. Our food has always been top notch. Tonight we got dinners to go and they also did not disappoint. If you stop in make sure to try the pork nachos as they are my absolute favorite! We also had chicken Alfredo (delicious) loaded Mac and cheese (amazing), wings (so good!), and a steak salad (perfect). I was in and out without waiting and my food was still hot when I got it home to eat. Well done Jerseytown!“

“Came for Brunch.
Place is cozy. Great for family, hanging out with friends, social meet-up.
I would love to come back at night time for some drinks, singing and dancing!
Our coffee and tea choices were all great! Maple french toast was also delish but the september special- country fried steak was just so-so. The oreo ice cream though was soooo good and huge!!! Can be shared by 4 people!
They do have a basement which I am guessing is only open at night.

“Good food, Cold drinks, friendly staff, and fair priced. It's an old school bar...they have pool tables, darts, megatouch, and apparently line dancing on a Friday night. If you value a fancy decor over the things I just mentioned, I'm positive your in the wrong place. I highly recommend the wings with the medium sauce.(it's the perfect level of heat and flavor)“

“Absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere and fantastic server. I had the pork sandwich with shakalaka sauce and my husband got the Rueben. Both were superb and the chips and fries magnificent. Thank you for a great lunch!!!!!“
