“My wife and l went last night. Great little bar. Great burgers and fries. The collectibles in the shadow boxes took me back to my childhood. Great vibe. Low key. Great beers. Coming back. Oh yeah, they have board games.“

“We went with friends to hang out out before dinner and maybe some karoke. I was pretty surprise at how many really talented people were there singing. The place was pretty packed on a Saturday between 3-6. Most everyone was nice, too. We didn't eat so I couldn't speak of the food but the drinks were reasonable and the service was good.“

“Great craft beer menu. We ordered a few appetizers: plain nachos (large plate; very cheesy & delicious), margarita pizza and fried pickles (both were very good). Bartenders were very attentive. It’s a converted bank so you can still see the vault which is a cool feature. Highly recommend.“

“Buckets is a great place to enjoy company and unwind. A sorta corner bar feeling with a neighborly attitude. Friendly and awesome bartenders (Jason, Melissa etc.) and patrons. No one ever made to feel like a stranger... everyone is welcomed“

“It was a friendly and fun environment. I went on a karaoke night and it was a nice vibe. I’m not a fan of karaoke, but I was able to get a few laughs! I didn’t order food, but the person I was with did. They gave me a shrimp from their quesadilla and it was delicious. I had one and a half drinks and they were both very watery. I stopped at the half because thr water and cranberry was making me run back and forth to the bathroom - which was clean, but non gender. I personally prefer places with gender-conforming, not just because it’s the way, but it opens up more opportunities for people with a weak bladder ? this place has two bathrooms one female and one male. It’s a quaint place, so I think that’s a change I’d like to happen. Unless, of course there is a safety issue. There are a few pool tables and a nice high chair bar that can seat about 40 people. I’m not from that area. It is a local spot to frequent. It’s a $ for overall cost. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.“

“Despite being a little run-down, the Mermaid is understandably well-loved for its historic building retaining much of its architectural detail & charm. The colonial era inn claims the finely-detailed rich brown wood bar is original.We visited for the first time to see the final performance of the fantastic groove-band the Sacred Cowboys. Great band & fans! Large, supportive crowd!We didn't eat, but the bar staff was efficient & friendly.“

“Bad service and this is for the owner, I left there upset because of an employee that you have who is in charge of the entrance. I do not have to consume alcohol to be in the establishment and sit down to drink alcohol to be seated and every person who asks me about that place, rest assured that I am going to tell him the bad thingPerson you have as an employee“

“Cheap drinks and friendly atmosphere, though I did see a dog walking through the bar which was extremely unsanitary. I reccomend the owner look into this and make sure dogs aren't allowed near the bar, for the sake of those allergic and for the sake of pure unsanitary conditions.“

“good spot to eat in the backroom which hardly anyone knows about LKim is great good food . Bartenders need to learn how to work the remote for the music , It is Bose system that you can adjust for each end of the bar and the right channel is off along with the bass . lol I always listen to music when I am there .“

“I've frequented the Broad Axe for quite some time and love it for the friendly and welcoming staff and warm atmosphere. The food is good and they have an extensive beer and spirits list. The skilled bartenders can whip up anything to suit a mood or taste.“

“Wasn’t sure what to expect going in, but was pleasantly surprised. Very down home atmosphere and good music. The bartender was a sweetheart and attentive. Drinks were a little pricier than anticipated at $10 a drink for Tito’s and club.“

“The owners, Jermaine & April, are super friendly & welcoming! The atmosphere was that of a neighborhood bar where everyone is treated like an old friend. The food was tasty & the drinks went down smooth. Will definitely be returning!“

“I have loved this bar for the eggnog nothing else sorry not sorry, but that was then and the old comly. The new bar is clean and modern , the new owner moved the pool table to the
back so no more pool sticks jabbed in the back or unnecessary fights., it's menu looked like I'm going to stop back for a bite but most of all the reason to go back is because of the friendly staff who was very welcoming, bartender J she has a personality that is super upbeat and quick.“

“I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. Still the one I compare to when testing any other hoagie . Regarding the score- I go to Hykels for a hoagie, I don't care about the atmosphere or service, not that it's bad, it's just not why someone would go to Hykel's Bar.“
