Great place to eat with a big crowd. Went here after visiting Gettysburg. Had about 80 students with us for a DC trip. They did a great job feeding us and keeping the service level up. Nice ambiance. Good job folks!

I have been there twice for lunch & for dinner on holidays. Both times I was a guest so I'm not sure if the cost. The atmosphere is high-end rustic... antique with modern fixtures. Make sure to look up and see the train running around the track. The servers are mostly young ladies and there busy the whole time... very friendly, and they remember most requests for refills on food and drinks. The food is holiday typical; turkey ham stuffing mashed potatoes carrots green beans etc. It is served family style; brought out in bowls, they're passed around the table, and ask for refills. They also have hot spices cider while your waiting to be seated. And the meals are served in shifts meaning they fill the restaurant, serve everyone the same food, the clear the restaurant and reset for the next meal... you will need a reservation. I recommend trying it.

My husband and I had such a wonderful weekend getaway. The cottage was very clean, the room is perfect and updated appliances. The view was perfect and beautiful. Mary Lynn was so kind and friendly, the entire staff was a pleasant experience. We have decided this is our spot we will continue to come to for a perfect little getaway.

We stayed at Hickory Ridge Farm March 22-23. We absolutely can't recommend this B&B more. The accommodations were immaculate, the service was 5 Star. We were fortunate enough to stay in the country suite. Incredible it was like staying in a museum. Dining was as incredible also, with a family style dinner that was delicious, my favorite was the chicken and broccoli and cheese. but everything was great. Mari Lyn and the whole Heritage Farm team was absolutely fantastic.

Did not stay overnight. Nice place for a special occasion or family gathering. Beautiful inside, but pricey. I can't eat enough to justify the almost $40 per person price, but I would bring my family here for a special occasion at least once.

Good home cooked food and B&B, the BestFood & drinks: The crab imperial , beef,pork what ever is very tasty, sometimes entertainment is good too
My family have been here several times over the last years.. this was the first time I can truly say I was disappointed.. seems like economy must be hitting hard,… served a salad with warm bacon dressing. , however, salad consist of iceberg lettuce, a few shredded carrots n a couple pieces of shredded cheese.. no bacon in dressing.The dessert was disappointing too! Cheese Cake with cherries? No cherries ! Just a little bit of thick sauce from can!Food & drinks: If u wanted soda, there was an extra charge

We have spent holidays, birthdays and anniversaries dining here. Always wonderful till this Christmas. I called the restaurant to confirm time and was asked to use the back door to enter because I have a service dog and "You know how people are" As we went anyway. My husband said "We are not using the back door" we therefore walked in the front door and were immediately wisked away to our table, before everyone waiting in line. I was so upset, I ate very little and left. My entire family, that has used this restaurant as a special get away.. will no longer be patrons of this establishment. It ruined my holiday, my appetite and my ability to feel accepted as a person with disabilities assisted by my service dog.

Food is over priced for what you get. Very disappointed. Went with my family and children and everyone felt the same as me. We have no intention on ever returning. I do love the idea and service was ok. We did have to wait a while for refills so will not recommend.
