5 Best Chicken Wings near Pennsburg

“I had to increase my 2018 rating of 4 stars to 5 stars! My wife and I stopped in for dinner last night. I commonly order fish and chips---which is always excellent---but last night I ordered a cheese burger with blue cheese crumbles and bacon--done rare! That comes with FF--which I asked to be well done. I always order burgers rare---but understand that isn't going to happen---I'm normally lucky to get medium. Last night was a wonderful change of pace----I got RARE----with a cool center :) My wife ordered her burger Med Rare---and got Med Rare. The FF were great as always. Kudos to a great crew at the Pub:)“

“Went there for the first time on Friday night. We knew they didn't take reservations and were prepared to wait. We put our names in and were told it would be about 15 minutes which was fine. We were super excited as the restaurant looked really nice inside and we had heard the "ghost stories" so we were looking forward to the whole experience. Sadly the waitress came up and told us she was going to seat us in "the other dining room" which is just an extra room they use for small events and such. NOT the same ambiance as the main room for sure. Plus if you need to use the restroom you have to walk outside and back into the main room which is inconvenient. She should have asked if we were ok not being seated in the main dining area as we would have gladly waited a bit longer for that to happen. Our waitress was delightful and our drinks were very good. Food came out too quick after our appetizers....we literally had just started eating them when our food was there. Waitress did apologize so it was nice she realize that was a negative. Food was 8/10....would certainly come back and try other things!“

“First let me say that the staff is unfailingly courteous and cheerful and friendly, which is unsurprising, because your attitude is reflected in your food, and the food here is wonderful. I have to admit that I've never had anything but a cheesesteak here (or cheesesteak variant like a cheesesteak boli), and I may never have anything but a cheesesteak here because they're amazing and now this place is indelibly linked to cheesesteaks in my mind in a Pavlovian kind of way. I can't even drive past that intersection now without thinking of cheesesteaks.I gave this place only four stars for ambience because it's not a crystal palace with marble floors, and only a crystal palace with marble floors is worthy of this food. It's a nice, clean shop though.There is an excellent chance that your food will be made by teenagers, and that they will be incredible at it. How did they get so good at such a young age? Well, this is clearly a family-owned-and-operated business, so these kids were taught to make good food probably before they could walk.Is that a violation of child-labor laws?Not when it's art, honey.“

“The lobster bisque was absolutely incredible. The burgers are big and juicy and full of flavor. So happy we gave the new owners a chance! It is a little pricy, but honestly worth every penny! Everything was really good and filling! I truly appreciate the non judgmental attitude about the dietary restrictions as well, because this is rare for me to experience! Awesome job!“

“Did a Sunday drive with my family. Googled places to eat near me. Good Jake’s popped up with good reviews. That was an understatement. The restaurant was cute. Prices are inexpensive for the quantity of food. The service was great. Maria was so sweet and gave a recommendation for the chicken Gyro and my husband loved it. A small business with a big outcome.“
