The Perk Reviews
My Mother-in-law, my partner, my two kids, and I ate at The Perk last night for dinner. Ate there Saturday June 28. I had the fish and chips. My wife had a wrap. My son had a burger and his wife had a flat iron steak. Food was great. Our only complaint is that it was entirely too noisy. Couldn't even carry on a conversation at our table. Had to practically scream at our waitress to place our orders. They do not take reservations for dinner.
Ate here for the first time last night. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back!

The Perk is a popular restaurant known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Highlights include the French Onion soup and Giant Bavarian Pretzel, while the Braised Short Rib Special is also highly praised. The restaurant offers great prices and generous portions, making it ideal for family dinners or hanging out with friends. The lively and friendly environment creates a community feel, with a lot of beers and ciders on tap and TVs everywhere. The place is always busy, which shows how much people enjoy it, though it can be loud due to its open space and hardwood floors. This noise level might not suit those seeking a quiet atmosphere, but for others, it adds to the fun. The staff is upbeat, friendly, and accommodating. Many guests appreciate that most of the food is made from scratch, and the presentation is often excellent. The menu also features items like the roast beef sandwich and fish and chips, with prices under $10, offering good value for the area. Trivia nights are well organized and add extra fun. While the food and service receive praise, some guests note that the noise can make conversation difficult. Overall, The Perk is a must-visit for tasty meals, friendly service, and a lively environment, with wheelchair accessibility and parking available.
