Hidden gem if you are looking for basic eggs bacon toast in a city. Every city has one. This is the one in Philadelphia.

Great people and delicious food! Definitely an old school atmosphere, but the food (and price) cannot be beat. We had an assortment of hot dogs, each one better than the next - be sure to add the pickle and onion!

Been meaning to pop in here for years and I am so glad I did. No frills, just plain good food at a decent price point. Staff was lovely and attentive and we were surprised to see there was a seating area. The hot dogs are a must get and all of them were delicious. Definitely recommend adding on the picked and onion. This place will make you rethink whether a hot dog can be a sandwich. Will definitely be going back 🤘🏼🌭

I had a hamburger. But my wife got a Weiner and went on and on about this was the best Weiner she had in a long time...said it was just right 👍🏿 😉
The best sausage, egg and cheese on a Kaiser roll with salt, pepper and ketchup I’ve ever had! Really hit the spot!!

Went here because everywhere else was insanely crowded. I got a chicken cheesesteak and it was quite decent. We also got a side of avocado toast and it tasted fresh. Also got a hot dog with just mustard and it was also good. Overall it was better than we expected it would be.

I'm from north Jersey, the home of Texas Wieners! This is not a Texas wiener. It's good, but not deep fried. Rather split in half and grilled on the flat top. Chili sauce, but no mustard relish.

Is it the most amazing culinary experience you would ever have? No. Is it a solid breakfast spot that won’t break your bank? Yes, definitely.

OK, so it looks questionable from the outside and the inside isn't a palace either. No worries, that's not what I was looking for, just a quick lunch. We got waited on pronto, got our food almost even faster. Not huge portions, didn't want one anyway. My hot sausage with fried onions, spicy mustard, tomato and lettuce on nice toasted whole wheat bread couldn't have tasted better! The bill was like nothing. Just the place I need for a quick lunch and close to other places I was needing to go too! btw, kitchen looked really clean - no food or junk laying around, good plastic protector wall against those coming in.
Kid-friendliness: Seemed like plenty of room for kids to spread out. Clientel didn't appear threatening, was reasonably well lit.
Wheelchair accessibility: seemed pretty roomy, no stairs - I don't use a wheelchair so maybe I missed something.

Use to love this place. Went there today with 4 others. Found a hair in the pancakes ?. Quietly let them know and the waitress went berserk and started screaming it’s not mines which it clearly was. Never going back so dissatisfied and disappointed.
Good solid diner. I had breakfast there. Very good. Fast and friendly staff.

I had the grilled chicken. It was dark grey, rubbery and obviously rotten meat. I gave it back. I sincerely couldn't even chew it. Waitress offered to replace and I declined out of fear I could easily get food poisoning from this place. I didn't even ask for my money back. I was so disgusted. I rarely write bad reviews but this is the exception.
I used to work there about 45 years ago … fond memories ?
