Amis Trattoria

This is our neighborhood restaurant and it has been very inconsistent with staffing and food quality over the years. Having said that, last night was fabulous! Bridget was one of the best servers at just about anywhere we've dined. She was attentive, pleasant and personable. She helped to recommend a glass of wine and offered me a taste before I committed. Two of the 4 dinners were cold upon service. Our waitress as pleasant as she was, kept coming over and asking are you ready to order, I think we said no three times and asked for more time. Then she rushed us through the appetizer saying your dinner is ready. Just felt super awkward and rushed.

Appetizers were all delicious! We had the burrata, meatballs, Caesar salad n eggplant chips. Two of us had the cider short rib n it was very good. Large portion n great flavors. My friend had the salmon which she enjoyed. My husband had the lasagna n was not a fan, maybe because of the truffle oil. I had a delicious cocktail w/vodka, lemon n mint-so refreshing.
