This is our neighborhood restaurant and it has been very inconsistent with staffing and food quality over the years. Having said that, last night was fabulous! Bridget was one of the best servers at just about anywhere we've dined. She was attentive, pleasant and personable. She helped to recommend a glass of wine and offered me a taste before I committed. This is what high end restaurants do. I am assuming that she was empowered to do this and as such, I commend you all. The rigatoni bolognese, chicken Valdestano, and spaghetti Pomodoro were all delicious and so was the Caesar salad. One of the best. Thank you and I wish you continued success. I hope that we have the pleasure of being served by Bridget many more times.

Two of the 4 dinners were cold upon service. Our waitress as pleasant as she was, kept coming over and asking are you ready to order, I think we said no three times and asked for more time. Then she rushed us through the appetizer saying your dinner is ready. Just felt super awkward and rushed.

Appetizers were all delicious! We had the burrata, meatballs, Caesar salad n eggplant chips. Two of us had the cider short rib n it was very good. Large portion n great flavors. My friend had the salmon which she enjoyed. My husband had the lasagna n was not a fan, maybe because of the truffle oil. I had a delicious cocktail w/vodka, lemon n mint-so refreshing. Our server was friendly n attentive to our needs, checking on us several times during our meal. Love the vibe of Terrain w/all the holida sights n smells!

I love Amis and am thre often. Last night though...for the first time I ordered a charcuterie board for $25 dollars that had mostly crackers, some olives (many of them were pitted) honey a few slices of salami and some mozzerella balls. No other cheese of any kind. We were all pretty disappointed in the content of this appetizer... The presentation was nice...but it had no substance whatsoever. I would love for you to rethink this app option. Thanks

First time here but it won't be the last. Love the look of the place, warm and inviting. Waiter was very accommodating. I had rosemary bread and rigatoni bolognese. Delicious! And the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. No soggy pasta! Husband had pork chop parmigiana which was generous and super tasty.

Group of us one for happy hour. The food was very good, the service was good crowd was very lively. Everything was great until the hostess asked us to leave because they needed our table. We all shocked, and it said it has never happened to any of us before. Yes we were there a few hours but we were constantly ordering food and drinks. We hadn't even finished a dessert. We will not go back, ever.

To be honest, a place like this should be busy on a Thursday night. It was very quiet this night. For an Italian restaurant one would think that they would have a Pinot Grigio on the wine list. They only had it as a bottle that you had to buy, we only wanted a glass. I instead ordered pomegranate mimosa, which tasted like juice very underwhelming. I've only been here twice but both times have not been impressive. I probably won't go back.

Service was kind of rushed. It's not that the noise level is too loud, but just the type of music played. It would be much nicer to have some classical or jazz music while having dinner.

I do not want my review to reflect poorly on our server. The poor service was totally not her fault. The restaurant was seriously understaffed on the night we were there. Our waitress was acting as hostess, making drinks and delivering drinks and food. We had an incredibly long wait to get our first drink. Most of the food was very tasty, however the salads were definitely sub par. The lack of staff is the thing that made our visit unenjoyable.

Excellent food. Hot when it needed to be hot; cold when it was supposed to be cold. Well seasoned. Enjoyed every bite. Service was marginal. Wrong appetizer delivered (but corrected). Cocktails took excessive time to be delivered. Glasses not cleared as drinks finished (they piled up). Finished by being charged for both the incorrect and correct appetizers (again fixed but unnecessary if bill had been checked first). Still, love Amis. Great food and setting.

Went for Restaurant Week. 2 of the courses were not good at all. The salad was too salty and so was the bolognese. Servece was very good though. Even the bread they gave was stale. One of the pices was hard as a rock. We used to frequent Amis a lot. The last time the food was not good either. We thought we would try again. ugh This is not baseball. Two strikes and they are out!

Absolutely the worst Lasagna I have ever been served. Totally dried out and burnt. Salad was poorly dressed and tasted like dirt. Waiter was nice and offered to take the Lasagna off the bill as I took only two bites.

No excuses. The restaurant is totally under staffed. Everything was delayed starting with the drinks, which were bad. The food took forever to arrive and the salads had a wisp of dressing - dry and bland. The main courses were overdone and dry. And the server waited until the end to bring bread, which was the highlight of the dinner. Enough said....not going back.

Service was not up to par. We both ordered salmon. The presentation was not good. It came out on a plate with nothing else. This is the first time that has happened to us. I did mention this to the server or manager and his reply was, “Yes, I noticed that.” The electronic dance music is really too loud and isn't necessary. Maybe think a little classical music. My suggestion is not to go for dinner on a Sunday evening.

We've eaten at Amis Trattoria in the past and enjoyed the food. Tonight was very disappointing. The charcuterie board seemed like something bought at the deli counter in the Giant: a few mozzarella balls, some olives, salami rounds, some tasteless cold meat, artichokes, and a 1/2 sliced orange. Our entrees were likewise disappointing. My husband had the 100 layer lasagna, which looked lovely but lacked flavor. I chose the cider-braised short rib. The plate looked attractive - very autumn-like presentation. However, the meat was dry (!) and lacked flavor. The whipped squash accompaniment was good, though. Our waiter, Jake, was outstanding. He made up for the poor menu by being attentive and considerate without being intrusive. I'm so disappointed as this was one of my favorites.
