Food was subpar. They asked for level of spiciness we asked for level 4 for most of the dishes that we ordered it seemed they have just sprinkled red chilli powder on the top instead cooking it because all you could taste was red chilli powder. Service was bad and slow. First they got our order wrong for appetisers then the gap between the meals was around 45 minutes or so. We had asked for dessert which they did not bring. By the time our entrees were served we didn't feel like eating any more. All in all a bad experience would not go again.
We went for a Diwali dinner, and came out satiated, happy, and in awe of the food we ate. Will definitely come again!
Spice level was great and the dishes had the complexity expected of high quality Indian food
The food and atmosphere was great, stood out over the service. There may have been an event going on upstairs which seemed to take priority in regard to service. Our waitress was sweet, seemed to be new or nervous which is understandable, but did create some confusion during dinner. I would definitely come back though.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a lovely experience at Sura! They surprised my guy with a complimentary birthday treat, which was so thoughtful. We got a little bit of everything, and it was all delicious. Our waiter was kind, funny, and made the night feel extra special. Truly grateful for how welcoming everyone was — can't wait to come back. 💛
Get the chefs dishes. Great location Quieter for lunch. Attentive staff. Lovely experience.
Amazing food... great bar service... friendly wait staff. Highly recommend! Good value for money with decent portion sizes!
Decent food, eerily dark and quiet for a lunch. Did not offer the Lunch Affair special that had been advertised and which was a draw to the restaurant
This was our first time at this bistro and it was exceptional. Our host/waitress Mishelle was top tier. She gave dinner suggestions and it was everything. She even liked how our "fits" matched.
Delicious food, right on point with the spice level, great ambiance, and the service was phenomenal - timely water glass being refilled, the server gently and kindly checked in a few times with my family! It is pricey, and that comes with the territory, unfortunately.

All excellent. Food incredibly delicious and staff attentive and so pleasant. Wonderful experience.
Wow!! We loved every single thing about our experience at Sura! It was my birthday and I could not have chosen a better place to celebrate. We sat at their beautiful bar and the bartender was awesome and answered all of our menu questions! I had the best lemon drop martini of my life. The food was absolutely amazing!! We enjoyed everything we had. We can't say enough great things about Sura!!
Sura hits the 3 elements for a great culinary experience where great food, ambience, and service come together. The food with a touch of uniqueness and freshness, the ambience chic and chill yet vibrant, the service timely and personalized. Definitely recommended when in Philly.
Delicious food in a lovely setting at an exceptional price with perfect service! What could be better? We dined for a late lunch, and ended up with the place to ourselves. Every single aspect of the meal, service and restaurant was outstanding - a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.
Went for the special summer lunch deal. Enjoyed the appetizer and both entrees, with upcharge add on of roti. Beautiful interior including noticeably pretty water glasses, comfortable seats, and pretty decorations. Very few other patrons so it was quiet and felt very private. The Tikka masala could have had more contents in the sauce, since it was mostly sauce with only a couple of pieces of paneer, but everything was delicious. An enjoyable lunch break during a work day.
