Vince was a great and explained the menu very well. The Saigon beers tasted great and the beef banh mi sandwich was fantastic.
Checked out this place last night for my husband birthday and we were so thrilled!! All the food and cocktails were amazing!! we ordered all the appetizers , top 2 were the octopus and bo tai chanh , watercress salad was also a tasty one. thit kho and a bowl of rice was a hit combo!! leaving full and happy, also their matcha ice cream was a great dessert . Vincent was our server and he was attentive, friendly and professional! thank you , we had a great night!!
First time at what was formerly Madira - we did not get the names, but the the folks that work there super friendly, the drinks delicious (had the me and youse, and their coffee martini), the food was outstanding. Best salt and pepper shrimp I’ve had in the city, apologies to South Sichuan and Dan Dan, but just exceptional. Banh mi delicious, nice portion of meat and flavors on point. Definitely will be back.

Anh Em is a restaurant and bar with a cool, half-restaurant, half-bar style atmosphere that feels casual and lively. The food, service, and ambiance are exceptional, and the place smells fantastic from the minute you walk in. The menu offers many flavorful dishes. The octopus, bo tai chanh, and watercress salad are tasty appetizers, while the thit kho with a bowl of rice is a hit combo. The salt and pepper shrimp is the best in the city, and the banh mi is delicious with a nice portion of meat and flavors on point. The raw beef appetizer and tomato tofu dish are standouts, and the mussels are some of the best ever, with a sauce you could drink in a glass. The rice paper rolls use mint, which is loved, and the lemongrass chicken and salad are crowd pleasers. The banh xeo was not enjoyed as much, but overall the food is fresh and well prepared. The drinks are delicious, including the me and youse and coffee martini. The matcha ice cream is a great dessert. The folks that work there are super friendly, attentive, and professional.
