Moved to the city last year and have been coming here frequently as I live a block away. Good variety of food and supplies and beer/wine choices. I love places like these and wish there were more of them in center city. It's a mom & pop convenience shop people so it's light staffed but they are friendly and they are making the food orders right in front of you! So chill out in their seating area, look at your phone for a few minutes which you all do for hours anyway,...
I love this place. Great people, great food. I come here everyday for the breakfast sandwich. A true hidden gem in Philadelphia. This place will be on the front page of the Inquirer soon. Run, don’t walk, get here while you can. The ketchup could be a little better.

I went and got a chicken burger 🍔 and it tasted pretty good. Sam actually uses ground chicken for the burger and beef for his beef burgers 🍔. So far, Sam food is pretty good. I added a picture below. It's on the sesame seed bun. The macaroni salad was okay. He used real mayonnaise though, I can tell.
