Ordered a seafood platter which supposedly includes shrimp, scallops, crab, and flounder plus fries, slaw, garlic bread and salad. It did not include scallops, slaw, or garlic bread. The fries were greasy but the seafood was decent.

Can’t say enough good things about Ella’s. All the food is amazing from the lamb and rice bowls to the salmon cheesesteaks! All the food is made fresh to order, often times by the owner. The establishment is clean and friendly.

Honestly this is the second time I’ve come across this place and made an order and this is the second time I’ve had a nasty encounter with the guy who takes the orders he gets attitudes and is rude as if it isn’t big job to take orders from customers the first time over the phone the second time was in person he was nasty to the point I just canceled my order all together. He completely ruined my appetite . Last time ordering from here he gives me the impression something is being done to my food how nasty his attitude is . The pizza was good the first time I ate from here . But overall nasty attitude.

The first time I had ordered food it was amazing. Cheese steaks were made with love. The second time the food was horrible and tasted like a bucket of grease the fries did. The pizza was too doughy. No cucumber sauce on the gyro. Just bad all together.

Finally! A restaurant where I can order healthy delicious food. I have been ordering from Ella's for about 4 months. My wish for Fishtown has come true. Ella's offers steamed seafood! Tonight I ordered my usual 12 steamed shrimp. My husband ordered 12 steamed scallops. You don't just get 12 LARGE shrimp or 12 LARGE scallops. The dinner comes with a whole steamed potato, FRESH broccoli, crunchy, just the way I like it, and corn on the cob. The sauce on the dinner is an excellent slightly spicy seafood boil sauce. The shrimp are plump and succulent and the scallops are tender and sweet. Thank you Ella's for offering this amazing delicious food at such an affordable price...and the carrot cake is excellent.
