A very friendly restaurant with delicious, authentic Thai food. The menu is large and so are the portions; you will not leave here hungry. Highly recommended and I look forward to returning.

Woke up with a serious hankering for soft-shell crab curry. After running a few errands, my husband and I decided to drive down to NoLibs to check this place out, since it was one of the few restaurants with this item on the menu that didn’t require a reservation 2+ weeks in advance.

We were very impressed by the food and the general atmosphere; it felt like eating at your friend’s home, with a very relaxed vibe. There were about 4 other parties in the restaurant with us, and people spoke freely among themselves.

The owner was serving and apologized profusely for not having wait staff that day, and warned us it would be a longer wait for our food. However, I didn’t feel like I was waiting long at all - 15 minutes, which feels fair for the quality of the food. She was also a great conversationalist and host to us all.

Don’t pass this place up if you’re in the area; just keep in mind it's BYOB (and they will happily supply a cold glass for your beer).

Try the duck tamarind!

*Just a note: we went in May 2026 but forgot to leave a review until now.

Free delivery in the area, decent pricing, so far the best thai I've had anywhere near the neighborhood. Currently my go-to thai joint.

Worst Thai food I have ever eaten in my life!! Never thought that Thai food could taste so bad. Never ever go there.

I hadn't ordered from here for a while, as I've been trying out other new food options in the neighborhood. My dinner last night was delicious! Fresh rolls, chicken satay, and yum woonsen salad. The owner gave me extra peanut sauce b/c I am gluten free and can't have the hoisin.

My brother told me about Baan Thai, but even with his raves, we weren't prepared for the experience. Personable, friendly, and most of all, the food was delicious! There were so many menu items, it was difficult to choose. But once I made my choice, I did not regret it.

Baan Thai, next trip to Philly, and we'll see you again. Kudos!

Good food, better service! We had the yellow curry and the drunken noodle. Both were great but the yellow curry was our favorite.

Tasty food, lovely atmosphere, friendly people! If you haven’t tried Pum’s cooking yet, get in here and you’ll keep coming back, that’s what happened to me.

I really wish I had pictures of my red curry from this place. I was having too much fun chatting with the owner and enjoying the art. great spot in the area for Thai. This is the kind of place where you ask the owner to recommend a dish for you and then you eat it. you will not be sorry!

Great Thai option in the city! The food was fresh, flavorful and packed with flavor. The owner has great customer service and executes flawlessly despite running the restaurant on her own. That takes a lot of passion, hard work and patience!
