I heard about Baby’s Kusina while on a dinner date and wanted to try this Filipino market. First off, the building is absolutely beautiful and the decor is aesthetic. On to the important stuff, the food and drink. My fiancé got the Ube-Milk Matcha and the Cheesy Beshy. The sandwich was delicious and the Ube-Milk Matcha was incredible! I got an iced matcha and the Rich Tita, which may have been one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever ate; the housemate pork longganisa was out of this world, the bread was light and flaky, and the egg was perfectly cooked. The Rocky’s Matcha is such a rare find and definitely the best matcha in the city. Lastly, Tam and Raquel were incredibly welcoming owners and the staff was interactive and wonderful. They have made a returning customer of me. Highly recommend 10/10.
I recently attended a baking workshop where we made 3 delicious traditional Filipino pastries. It was a ton of fun and they fed us delicious food throughout and served amazing drinks. The chefs were SO kind and you can tell they’re really passionate about showcasing and highlighting Filipino food and the community. I think it all amazing! Thank you for opening up your kitchen to us!
Such a cozy little gem of a Filipino restaurant! My partner and I both ordered the pork adobo bowl during a closed event hosted by them, and we cleared it so fast because it was just that good! Portion sizes were filling and the quality of the food was top notch - I put the fork in my mouth and immediately said “Wow this tastes like home.” The space is decorated tastefully and well utilized despite being on the smaller side. The people working are FANTASTIC!! Super kind :) Will be coming back for sure!!
Cozy neighborhood spot that is currently serving brunch on the weekend. The “Rich Tita” sandwich came highly recommended, and while it was tasty, I wasn’t mind blown.
I loved how fresh the ingredients were, and the bread was delicious, but it felt like something was missing. I hear their donuts are amazing and I will definitely come back to try one!
Beautiful space and food was delicious
Thank you to Raquel + Tam and the entire Baby’s team for crushing it for Jon’s 40th birthday! From the planning stages to the day of, everything was seamless and I couldn’t be happier choosing Baby’s for Jon’s surprise birthday! Raquel worked with me to curate the menu and it was perfect because everyone couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was. My main goals for the event was to have good drinks, good food, good vibes and Baby’s delivered!
Amazing breakfast sandwiches and fun drinks - the ube matcha special was perfect! Friendly and welcoming staff
Kare kare katsu chicken….the best
Last Friday, I ran out of work and got there 15 min before closing to try the Ube horchata and doughnuts. I had missed out on the doughnuts, and their kitchen had just closed, but they were so sweet and they still offered to make their Rich Tita breakfast sandwich for me. It was so delicious, complex and filling. I was so thankful.
I went again last night and ordered a couple of their Chicken Joy sandwiches and their Mango Bread Pudding. During both visits, I was met with extreme warmth and kindness as well as delicious, fresh, flavorful food.
If their food was bad, I would still go back just for the service. They are so kind and welcoming and enthusiastic about their restaurant. They all seem to love working there, and you can sense the family-like camaraderie amongst the staff.
But then the food…so amazing. The ingredients they use are so tasty and compliment each other so well. Do you guys make your bread in house? The texture, the sweetness! My family and I were raving about it to each other.
I and friends I’ve talked to are so excited about this restaurant opening. Looking forward to watching them grow and visiting again soon! I hope once they have their grand opening, they open a little earlier if possible, so I can stop in everyday for some coffee and donuts before work.
No pics because everything was devoured so quickly, but the food is pretty, too!
Baby's screams best new restaurant/market. It's got everything - coffee to die for, sandwiches unlike any others in the city, and a market-like atmosphere for take home staples. Friendly staff who you can tell love the neighborhood through and through. 5 stars, all day!

Incredible! We tried the chicken tocino katsu bowl, the cheese beshy sandwich, the peach-banana bread, and Baby's special donuts. Everything was amazing. The rice bowl was so good we got a second one to go.
Coconut matcha latte and shaken espresso were also both delicious!
