Why is this place here? Very lazy, thoughtless owners have abandoned this place for years. Also horrible hardware store next door. They are blight on neighborhood and should be fined for leaving this place abandoned for so long! Sell the property to someone who cares!!!

This restaurant is my favored. I eat in a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cooking they cook is so tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Named after a Yugoslavian comedy movie, this place has some good and authentic Balkan food. It's hard to find a decent spot for Balkan cuisine in our area, so I hope this place makes it past this Covid situation.

Balkan Express is an unassuming, simple restaurant with excellent food and a friendly staff. The dishes of Yugoslav and Hungarian tradition are mostly unfamiliar to the American guests, but they are of high quality and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is more than adequate. The restaurant is definitely worth a try when you are in Philadelphia.

My top place for tasty Mediterranean food. Entered near ten, it was not crowded. Certainly worth a return trip. It has a great atmosphere. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.

A preferred place for delicious Mediterranean food. Nothing to complain about. Service treated us so nice. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
