Delicious food. Wonderfully inventive cocktails. Lovely ambience (echoes of New Orleans). Unfortunately forgettable wine.
Our new go to date spot! The food was delicious, the cocktails and wine list was great and the service was excellent. Looking forward to trying more of the menu!
A terrific little restaurant with a lovely menu. I've tried many of their dishes and they are all very good. Fresh ingredients, balanced flavors (nothing is too salty), and attentive service. Liz is a very skilled bartender. Highly recommend!
Great drinks and food
Fantastic restaurant all around. Warm and charming atmosphere that is at once romantic, friendly, sophisticated and casual. Enjoyed a terrific 'Restaurant Week' dinner last night. I got the duck breast with the French Onion Soup. My companion got her 'usual' burger. Everything was amazing! The soup was just right, gooey and flavorful. Duck was perfect...light somehow and delicious. Burger was satisfying and great as always. Went with the vegan ' Chocolate Cardamom Pot De Creme' desert instead of our usual Creme Brulee. Not disappointed! Overall WOW!!!
Great food, especially the Duck Wings, the staff is attentive & lovely. The cocktails & wines are well thought out & the Brown Butter Washed Rye is delightful. The vegan Pot de Creme was delicious, rich & unique.
This is a cute gem on Germantown Ave in Mt Airy! The cocktails are phenomenal and the food was perfect. We split the burger and Caesar salad with chicken schnitzel. Highly recommend and will be coming back!!
Great French/Belgian style bistro with excellent food. The crême brulée should be a controlled substance because it is SOOOOO good.
We received cold not toasted bread and butter at the start of the meal. I've never had cold bread and hard butter at a restaurant. The food was okay at best. The server only took our order and did not check on us once during the meal. Not impressed and will not be going back.
I considered not leaving a negative review in case this was just an off night, but it’s now midnight and this food has left me sitting on the toilet.
it was busy and short staffed which is not the servers’ fault, but still had to wait an hour just for bread. To make matters worse the bread was stale. The brussel sprouts were lukewarm and soft with what looks like dried out, pre grated parmesean from a bottle. Entrees were also sadly tasteless and cold, I actually wish there were salt shakers on the table but I just wanted to eat and leave as quickly as possible. Maybe going here for a just a drink on another night would be nice, but I would never order food here again.

From other reviews on Yelp, we may just have eaten here on a very “off night”. The place was fairly busy for a Sunday night before Christmas so possibly the problem was due to a staff shortage. It was also freezing cold inside and apparently nothing could be done to crank up the heat. In fact, cold air was pouring down on our heads. We waited at least an hour after eating our soups to get our entrees. Aside from waiting forever to get our food, it was fairly tasteless. My “shaved radish arugula salad had only a few paper thin slices of radishes and pieces of goat cheese that were minuscule, along with a few pieces of walnuts. My friend’s burger was fine but the chosen “salad” instead of fries was no more than a few pieces of arugula with nothing else. Another friend’s entree, a mushroom cassoulet, while a good size portion, was almost tasteless. The servers tried their best but it was an uphill battle.
I think the cocktails were the highlight of our visits. Definitely try them! Everything we tried was good. Service was great, friendly, attentive. Tried some of the food which generally missed the mark for me because I'm picky... but it was still tasty. I liked the mushroom and escargot with toast.
You will feel like you’re in a quaint French bistro. The service was extremely knowledgeable and friendly Excellent cocktails and delicious food, that’s mostly traditional with just a hint of a twist. The escargot appetizer was a perfect blend of escargot, mushrooms and herbs. My husband had the beef cheek which was tender and so flavorful. I had the duck breast which was cooked perfectly and the vinegar and honey sauce was like nothing I’ve ever had, here or in France.
The restaurant offered an intimate ambiance with subdued lighting, creating a romantic and cozy atmosphere. We went during the day and sat near the open bay door windows, which also made for a wonderful experience. Whether you’re meeting with friends or going on a date, this is a great environment for either. The cocktails are top-notch: we had the vesper. We will certainly be going back again. The duck breast and the mushroom cassoulet were delicious.
This place is such a vibe from the lighting to the music. Great for a date night or a chatty girls dinner. Probably the best steak frites I've ever had! The steak was soooo tender.
