My first experience did not disappoint. My family loved it and I mean LOVED it. The meat was smoked to perfection and had just the right amount of flavor. The portions and sides were also good. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other options including the seafood. To my surprise, the chef and owner turned out to be a good dude of mine from high school. That was priceless!!

My aunt got ribs from Big Grill over the MDW on Saturday and the ribs were amazing. It’s hard finding good quality ribs and the grill master does BBQ competitions. By the taste of the ribs you know this guy is the REAL deal! The ribs were cooked perfectly, meaty and the bbq sauce was out of this world. I can’t wait to come back.

**UPDATE** (ordered 4/3) I had my brisket sandwich. A good brisket doesn’t need barbecue sauce. It was PERFECTION. Best brisket in Philly. Green beans were amazing, smoked chicken salad was smoky, crunch from the celery was just enough to add texture. Loved it! Green beans were 10x better than I had the first time! The coleslaw is how my mama taught me to make it back home 🥹 My fat butt wants another sandwich! Lol Thanks a bunch!
3/21: A little disappointed. Ordered from DoorDash a brisket sandwich with coleslaw, no coleslaw. Bread is soggy. Also paid for extra sauce on the side and did not receive it. This is my second time ordering from here. I wish they paid more attention to the details. Can’t rate the food completely because I didn’t have all my items.
Being from the south this is the best brisket is the best I’ve had in Philly so I’ll give it that. Wish I got just a bit more fat. Beans and rice were heavy on the pepper but otherwise bland. My husband really enjoyed the eggrolls
I was looking for some great barbecue in the Mount Airy/Germantown area. I have found a great place at Big Grill Barbecue! I really love his ribs! Both pork and beef are avaiable. They are tender with a great tasty sauce. I recommend Big Grill Barbecue for great tasting BBQ. You will not be disappointed. The wings and fish are good too.

We are from Texas. We hosted a dinner for 70 people in Philly. Big Grill delivered and sat up the serving line. We know BBQ and Big Grill is outstanding BBQ. It holds up against and surpasses local Texas BBQ. The Big Grill BBQ grill masters are genius. We ordered some of all the meat items. The quality of the food was excellent. The yams were done perfectly, just like grandmas! The ribs and brisket went crazy fast. Nothing irritates me more than to order brisket or ribs and get a pile of fat with a little meat. Big Grill trims the fat. They serve high quality tender meats. Everyone loved the ribs, brisket, turkey and fish; we had many requests for seconds.
Ordering 28 lbs of mashed potatoes you would expect we would have enough, the pan was scraped empty.
The pricing was extremely fair for the food quality and quantity.
Hopefully Big Grill will branch out and open a place in Texas.
