I was billed two times of31,50 I went to the owner to inform my purchase was 6.18 for BLT, owner denied I was charged twice , when purchase was showing 31.50 on my credit card. Argument pursued she did not want to give the money back, I threatened to call the police she then through the money at me, cursed me out, and said never to come back in the store. I feel apology should have happened, but it didn’t. I was charged for someone else meal. Watch your credit card when going to bread and butter. I don’t recommend this place. Pay only with cash !!!! If you use your credit card you may ge double bill. Thank you.

Great neighborhood place for breakfast/brunch! Service was great even though they were short handed! Food (catfish platter w/cheese grits + salmon cakes platter w/cheese grits) was just as excellent! Atmosphere was lively and pleasant! Glad we discovered this gem & we'll def be back!

Good spot for breakfast/brunch. No frills, just the way I like it. We had a party of six for Sunday brunch and we were able to sit immediately. Other places had a 45 min to an hour wait time.

Babe brought me to this spot because he use to frequent here in the past. It's a small deli with a dine in area. He felt so bad because I didn't enjoy the food. I went with Whiting and cheese grits and boy was I upset because that fish was not fresh and it tasted gross. The grits was ok but who puts two slices of cheese on top of grits like that. Babe got home fries and beef bacon and that just didn't do it for me either. The bacon was salty and I've had better home fries. Maybe other items on the menu are better but I'm sorry I won't be returning to Bread & Butter. Service was great no problem there.
