This place is fantastic. Everything is vegan and the lox of love sandwich was incredibly tasty. I thought I would never have lox again, but I am happy to have been proven very wrong!
The Phillywide included JustEgg, vegan cheese, and Beyond bacon or sausage. I chose bacon, but received sausage. I wanted a Philly muffin, but they were out, so I chose a sundried tomato bagel. The sandwich was good, but so hot that I burnt my tongue. I was disappointed to learn they don't actually make any of the baked goods.
The coffee was not hot enough and the barista walked away mid-order before getting the drink order correct which was awkward. Her coworker had to step in and he finished the drink.

I love discovering vegan places around Philly, so happy to have found this one! Chill atmosphere and super cute decor. They have the best croissants I've ever had in my entire life. Great taste and perfect amount of flakiness! I'm excited to come back and try their lox bagel.

I have enjoyed beyond meats and just egg before, also had full vegan dining and had a lovely experience. Brewerytown Bakery concept is good, the food execution not so much. The flavors and textures were off. Bagels are not good either.

The strawberry crunch cake doughnut was super delicious. The Phillywide Sammie was delicious ?. The Lox of love was very good with smoked paprika and chilli cream cheese. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-11

Super cute spot that we snagged a bagel to go. The smear was a little overwhelming and dripping off but it was still delicious. Friendly staff and fun decor.

I had fairly high hopes for Brewerytown after following them on instagram for a while, at first it wasn’t clear if all of their offerings were vegan, and since I don’t live nearby it took me a while to find a good day to check it out. We picked up two croissants, two donuts, and two cream cheese bagels. The croissants were not as dense and layered as I hoped, but the flavor was good. I was disappointed to see the teeny tiny pieces of chocolate in the pain au chocolat. The donuts were decent, and I think the Boston cream was maybe my favorite thing in the group, though I believe they were a special and brought in from Bethlehem’s Vegan Treats. And then the bagels…. The bagels themselves were good. No one can top a Kettle Black bagel, sorry! The price was good, but the “cream cheese”… oof. We tried two different kinds and they both had the consistency of sour cream. I’ve mixed up tofutti with seasoning and veg, and I know Grondcore uses tofutti. So I have no idea what kind of cream cheese Brewerytown uses, but I really hope they consider changing it. It was so wet and thin and drippy, my partner couldnt finish his bagel, which is wild to me. I’m glad to have another option for vegan baked goods in the city, and I’ll try to visit again when I’m near that neighborhood.
Options of different Plant based Bagels.
