I tried it for the first time today, and couldn’t be more disappointed. I got dumplings that were lukewarm on the outside and very cold inside. They were also not the flavor that I ordered.

High price, low taste. We ordered the dumpling sampler, dumplings in soup, and a double smash burger. The soup dumplings were very good. The soup itself is basically just mild broth with almost no rice, veg, or flavor other than salt. Everything other than the soup dumplings was very bland yet salty and extremely oily. The sautéed dumplings were hard on the edges and just dripping with pan grease. The burger meat was falling apart and tasted like it was pre-cooked and then thrown in the microwave. Old and greyish. First and last time trying this trendy spot.

So This my first time having Brooklyn dumpling shop and I can say the vibes and food is amazing here. I really like the king pao chicken with the authentic dumpling sauce. 10/10

Everything is automated, order and pay @ a kiosk and have to provide a valid phone number to complete your transaction. Order just a drink, not even one they had to handcraft or anything and it took literally 13 minutes to receive while it wasn't busy.

The waffle fries, veggie dumplings, and PBJ dessert dumplings were delicious. Peanut shrimp was good but not wow. Would definitely come back.

First time trying this place, and it was really disappointing. I'm not sure of the point of the retro-automat vibe, but it's rather uninviting not to be greeted by a real person in a restaurant.
There was noone else there when we ordered, but it still took a long time to receive our food, which is odd, since all they were doing is reheating stuff from their fridge. I'd hate to see what happens if they ever get busy.
We ordered dumplings in broth. The dumplings were the mass produced frozen kind you can buy at a supermarket. The broth was a very salty bouillon with no other flavors. It reminded me of a Lipton's chicken soup package to which you just add water.
