We had a really great dinner at Bucatini! The food was fantastic for the super reasonable prices; all of the pasta was homemade and delicious. Our server, Fiona, and all of the staff were present and pleasant. The environment was definitely lively, but not too loud to carry conversation. We're excited to have them in the neighborhood and can't wait to come back!
I didn't like that we were asked to get up from our table after we paid the check Felt rushed
This was my third time at Bucatini - Each time gets better and better. The octopus was so delicious and tender it melted in your mouth. And the gnoochi was TO DIE FOR, that sauce, and the homemade gnoochi was out of this world. Service was excellent, atmosphere is cozy and food is always phenomenal. In my opinion, this is the best spot in south Philly. And it's a BYOB!
We dined early and were among the first to arrive. Service was great. The waiter took our wine and had it corked and served as soon as we sat down. He was attentive but not overly so. Arugula salad and long hots came first. Both were very fresh. The pasta dishes were excellent with homemade pasta! YUM! and we managed to share some sorbet for dessert. Will come again. Highly recommended.
Sam was wonderful making suggestions and sure that everything was perfect. Music was just right - not too load and overall great experience for a nice neighborhood cafe. Food is OUTSTANDING in the quality and variety of dishes .
Excellent food, service, ambiance. Really enjoyed the homemade pasta. BYOB and friendly staff. Great addition to the neighborhood!
I hosted my sister’s bridal shower on October 26th, and it was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, the team was responsive, informative, and a pleasure to work with. The food was incredible, and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. Their service was exceptional — everyone was polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire event. I can’t thank Bucatini caffe and their amazing team enough for the delicious food, outstanding service, and for helping make my sister’s bridal shower such a memorable and perfect day.

I ordered the Bucatini pasta for take out. It was so good that I have to leave a positive review on google. Even though I only did take out, the servers were welcoming and the food came out fast. I am already planning my next visit and can’t wait to try more!

Nice little restaurant on Passyunk. We’ve been twice, and both times the pasta has been cooked perfectly al dente. Flavors are delicate and fresh. It’s expensive, with pasta priced between $25-29 (most mediocre pasta dishes elsewhere are between $18-24 anyway…) Service is friendly and they always have specials so you can try something new. I’ll be back!
