“Amazing buffet! They have a lot of sashimi and sushi and everything is super fresh. The trays get refilled quickly so nothing ever sits empty. The restaurant is clean, the food selection is great, and the seafood is definitely the highlight. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“a bit pricey for Sunday and some of the items were very salty. they didn't have crab legs or lobster claws they had a little bit of a stone crabs but when I say little I mean it was always an empty tray. I had to ask twice for dim sum there was a lot of empty areas. the staff aren't very friendly but okay I guess. I didn't try the Hibachi maybe next time I will. I also am not a fan of everyone putting their arms down into the ice cream tubs so I steer clear from there. there were a lot of good items and it's an easy place to take my Down syndrome son who loves a buffet.“

“Yall - don’t sleep on this restaurant. Seriously, take yourself or someone you like out to eat (especially for lunch) and enjoy Umi’s high quality food! The salmon sashimi is buttery smooth and tastes so so clean. There were honestly so many surprisingly tasty things to eat. The hotpot, ramen, milk tea, and beverages are all included in the buffet price. We did have to pay up front, though, which is a little different than we are used to but they didn’t make us feel profiled - the host was professional and friendly. The entire staff was attentive!! Also, the decor looks fresh and modern - the ceilings are adorable with the traditional Japanese umbrellas. I’m deeply thankful to have this gem in our neighborhood! Ahh - let me stop rambling. Just please try it - i think you’ll enjoy yourself!“

“My go to buffet when I'm in the SP area. They have a variety of entrees to choose from at a reasonable price. I go for the fish and sushi. The sushi is freshly made and it's normally a few kinds of fish to choose from. I like the fried catfish and baked snapper. The 4-star rating is because sometimes if you stay a bit too long for their liking. They'll start staring and Will give you the check and cookie as a hint that it's time to go. Go, eat, have have fun. It's something for everyone.“
