“I was there on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The staff that they had Chinese lady Tina was hovering over our table rushing us to pay and leave. She did it to another table as well very bad attitude, which is not good because I usually go there regularly and I get good service. She approached me smiling and then I don’t know what it was if it was a mental issue, but she switched up. She must’ve been tired because of the Fourth of July rush, but I don’t know what it was. I paid and I asked her for a cup of water she snatched the cup out of my hand and brought me a cup full of water with maybe two or three pieces of ice. The water was hot and she laughed about it as she walked away and left it at the table I was completely appalled the lady at the front desk as I was leaving I approached her and I told her it was the young Chinese lady and she acted shocked and as if she didn’t care, the older lady that’s at the front desk she apologized now I don’t know if I will ever go back. This is the place that I’ve been going to for the past couple years. I don’t know, but Tina the Chinese woman should’ve been reprimanded.“

“a bit pricey for Sunday and some of the items were very salty. they didn't have crab legs or lobster claws they had a little bit of a stone crabs but when I say little I mean it was always an empty tray. I had to ask twice for dim sum there was a lot of empty areas. the staff aren't very friendly but okay I guess. I didn't try the Hibachi maybe next time I will. I also am not a fan of everyone putting their arms down into the ice cream tubs so I steer clear from there. there were a lot of good items and it's an easy place to take my Down syndrome son who loves a buffet.“

“I checked out Umi Hot Pot Sushi & Seafood Buffet for dinner. Overall, the overall atmosphere and trendy layout of the restaurant are really nice and welcoming.

The food lineup is solid. For my first plate (pictured), I grabbed a mix of salmon sashimi, seared pepper tuna, a few different specialty rolls, some seaweed salad, tempura shrimp, and a scoop of General Tso's chicken. Everything on this plate tasted fresh, and the sushi held together well.

That being said, there were a few drawbacks. The dinner pricing is fairly high, so you definitely want to arrive with a massive appetite to make it worth the cost. While the seating area looked clean, the floors throughout the buffet stations were noticeably sticky, which kind of took away from the nice ambiance. Finally, a minor tragedy for soda fans: they don’t carry Dr. Pepper.

It’s a good spot if you want to load up on seafood and sushi, but the high dinner price tag and sticky floors keep it from being a five-star experience for me.“
