I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, I also have heard good things about it. So today, I decided to go because I was in the mood for a Stromboli which I heard was the best Stromboli in south Philly. Now mind you this is my first time at this establishment, so when I walked in I immediately went for a menu and the lady working behind the counter explain to me they didn’t do sandwiches at that location and whatever was out on display is what they had. OK I still decided to give it a try, I got a slice of tomato pie and a cheesesteak Stromboli. The lady just took the Stromboli and put it in a aluminum sleeve and wrapped the tomato pie and asked me if I like a bag, not once did she offer if I wanted the tomato pie heated up etc. before coming to this place I was under the impression that every Stromboli was made to order. I ate the cold slice of tomato pie in my car which was tasty, and notice some instruction on how to bake it in the oven. When I finally did bake the Stromboli it was literally one of the worst cheesesteak Stromboli I ever had, i’m normally used to red sauce inside my cheesesteak Stromboli the one from here didn’t have a hint of sauce. It was also dry, very doughy with hardly no steak no onions, I ate half of it and threw the other half in the trash very disappointed on my experience from here because I did have high expectations for this place. I also feel like the staff need to be more informative and accommodating, at least ask the customers if they like their food heated up, maybe in the future I will give this place another try, but I definitely will steer clear of the Stromboli’s from here.

We got some bread, pizza & cannolis, best cannolis I ever had, can’t wait to try pizza. Woman behind counter was extremely friendly, efficient and professional. Definitely will get back

Amazing store. The Tomato Pie was great. Got some rolls to go. Happy I found this place.

Hello, I ordered and waited for two pizzas plain just sauce and cheese. Not good pizza. The sauce had a very distinct taste of oregano or some spice and the pizza was soggy on the bottom, not crisp. With nowhere to sit, I had to sit on the cold window sill with another customer.

Old time family owned bakery. They sell Italian bread, rolls, pizza, stromboli and cannolli. We now live in South Carolina and every time we go to Philadelphia we bring rolls back to SC. Especially, love the seeded rolls. You won't be disappointed!

Parking: There is loading zone in front of store, but when they are busy, you have to look for a parking spot.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

I was in a bind when my oven died 2 days before Thanksgiving. Cacias to the rescue! They roasted off my turkey in their brick oven. Done to perfection! And the rolls! Delicious .
