As a south Philly native it’s sad I have to leave this review. I typically come here everyday and get food. The picture uploaded was the day before. I came in today around 11am and after sitting for 45 mins (wasn’t hungry just yet but had plans to get a bite to eat around 12:30 which would have been lunch) I was told by someone who barely spoke proper English that if I didn’t buy anything I had to leave lol… although there were people of different skin tone sitting there with nothing as well, I had to leave. It’s perfectly fine because I will take my business else where. As an influencer with a large social media presence I will be sure to make a story time about my experience! I am so disappointed!
Cute artisan cakes.
$8 to $10 each, but they are good for an occasional treat for yourself or for special occasions. Hazelnut cake for the win.

Horrible portions. It was already bad when I saw the size of the cup for 3.50$, (double espresso) which is reasonable. The serving time wasn’t quick and wasn’t long either so im not going to speak on that. As if I wasn’t disappointed enough, the coffee they gave me only filled 1/3rd of the cup. It wasn’t even good honestly. Just go to Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks honestly. This is MY opinion, don’t take it to heart. The service wasn’t horrible cause the lady seemed nice. The place is clean, but she could’ve told me ahead of time on what I should’ve been expecting.

Very cute cafe, with lovely service and great coffee. I was hoping the food would improve since they reopened but my egg sandwich was dry with hardly any egg and served on stale bread. It’s a shame because when they first opened a few years ago the food was amazing. They had Japanese milk bread that was very fresh and soft and the sandwiches were perfectly made. They also had delicious brunch options . Still a nice place to work or study and get a cake but I would avoid the other food! I think the coffee is great and the lattes are always made well. Also love that they are dog friendly 💕

I'm anxious to try their food. When I looked them up on Google it said they were open. When I arrived it was a sign up that said under renovation.
The food was just okay. I mean the French toast was good, but most is. The pork bacon was unbelievably stiff and hard, appearing to be old! So, French toast, two strips of bacon, a fried egg, & a cup of coffee came to almost $30!!! The service was unfriendly & my table was dirty. The seating was so uncomfortable, with cushioned chairs that sat well under the wooden tables. Awful! Won't be returning.

I brought my daughter here for breakfast. She enjoyed a chocolate croissant and a mango refresher and I had a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. Staff went over and above in terms of kindness and customer service. Food and drinks were wonderful. We were the only ones eating in for awhile and the tables were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Kid-friendliness: There’s loads of space, lots of available tables and staff were very child-friendly!

Lyia was so kind and gave me great suggestions. She makes the most beautiful rose lattes! Highly suggest everyone to come and try cake and Joe. I’ll be back!
Taro latte is very good ?

What a disappointment. When we went inside we were greeted by a space filled with laptops with zombies staring into them. Not one word spoken, no laughter or conversation happening that one would expect in a coffee shop. The tables were unclean and not kept up with. The bathroom was a mess. Will not return. Would not recommend.

Great cozy place for coffee and dessert. Super nice people, and they put such care into making our drinks.

The vibe is ideal for hanging out, working, whatever. The drinks are great most of the time, the signature desserts amazing, the service friendly, but the food has taken a steep nosedive into being inedible. The last three times I’ve been here I ordered different dishes and threw all of them out after one or two bites. The “breakfast hash” is a straight up joke. It was a massive plate of unseasoned, overcooked home fries with an overcooked egg on top. Not only visually unappealing but inedible. The breakfast sandwich on ciabatta with turkey sausage was not much better. Slathered in mayo, the little egg that was on it was overcooked and the turkey sausage tasted like a sink, we each had one bite and threw it out. Their breakfast burrito was incredibly dry and had no seasoning. No idea what’s going on, but 6-months ago this was one of my favorite places to eat, the food looked just like the photos and was delicious. Those days are longggg gone. Please teach your chef how to use seasoning and reinvent your dishes.
