Had a great experience with Charlie at Cannulis. Went there needing a roasted pig for a party. Never bought one before. He took me to the back and showed me step by step how its done, and what to expect for transporrting and serving.
Even told me to buy smaller than I thought, based on the number of people being served.
Picked up a week later, and even though 9th street was shut down for an event, his guys brought it all the way to 8th street and loaded it in my car.
The pig was perfect and delicious. This is now my go to spot for big occasions. Awesome all the way through.

Good place to buy steaks. Prices are reasonable. They will season the meat for you.

Pissed cause they didn't season my pepper steak or my California steak and I did ask. Nor did I get my damn oxtails ?

I always get great service, fresh meats & poultry. The price of meats have gone up everywhere, but I love shopping there. I fill my chest freezer for at least 2 months, but I go every month anyway. The butcher's are very friendly and patient. Lol as a customer we can be a pain. Lol

One of the best meat stores in Philly. Beef, chicken, turkey and pork. My favorite is pinwheels which they don't have all the time. I also get my steak cut for the best cheese steak. Beef bacon is on my agenda for tomorrow. The staff is friendly and fun to talk to
Great place great prices great employees. Lines are always long but it's worth the wait.
