Been eating there since I was a kid with family in the market. Now live in Key West for last 30 years but specifically make sure each time I come up to see family I go to Villa Di Roma, clams casino, asparagus, gravy and the people there that run it all family. Amazing piece of the food history of the Italian market that is a must try anytime.

Villa di Roma is a classic spot serving authentic Italian food with a lot of flavor and a true south Philly experience. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices, although it's cash only. Customers highly recommend the clams casino, asparagus, and gravy. The lobster franchise is described as the best ever had. Ravioli, baked rigatoni, tuna Sicilian, and meatballs are also highlighted, with the meatballs being a definite star, noted as the best meatballs ever eaten. The spaghetti and sausage is excellent, with perfectly tender pasta and flavorful meat. The restaurant has a full bar, and the service is great, with staff members providing excellent service.
