First time trying a Philly Roast Pork, and it was absolutely delicious! Juicy and tasty topped with the broccoli rabe and long hots. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Philadelphia.
Absolutely delicious steaks!!!
Quality cheese steak on a nice seeded roll. The onion rings are a perfect side. Great beers in tap.
Great sandwiches especially the pork sandwich with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. Charlie's has seating indoors and outdoors. They also have draft beer and a large selection of bottle or can beer. There are also lots of TVs inside and outside to watch the game.
Roast beef or Pork classic sandwiches this is the place to add to the rotation. The beer garden attached has nice selection and seating areas.
Very delicious cheesesteak. I'm very particular about my sandwiches and the texture of the steak, the seasonings, the bread- all immaculate.
The best cheesesteak in Philly. I’ve tried many other famous cheesesteaks, but I love one from Charlie’s the best. Pork subs are also tasty.
On October 19th, we celebrated a birthday/retirement party at Charlie’s. Joe the owner assisted in selecting a menu for the evening. The roast pork and beef sandwiches were delicious, the pasta was a welcome dish, the the eggplant parmesan was divine. Went back for second and thirds! Great atmosphere, well ventilated, the staff was professional, friendly and helpful. There were a extensive selection of beers. We had a wonderful evening dancing to the music on the jukebox. Overall a perfect evening!! Thank you Joe.
I am very confused they told me the pizza would be ready in 40 min but then I went back 10 minutes for my fries they gave me this. It looked and tasted like a day old reheated burnt pizza. It had a lot of crushed red pepper and if I wasn't starving I would have thrown the whole thing out. One of my friends had one bite and was done. I get it, it's 10 bucks but this was almost not edible.
Service, timing, food quality all lacking at this establishment.Walked up for takeout and was told 10-15 minute wait on a Friday evening. 35 minutes later and still waiting, so I went to ask how much longer. The staff member starts taking my ticket back to the kitchen - nothing had even been started. I didn't get an apology; on the contrary, the staff member said to me, "what do you want me to do" with attitude. We waited an additional 15 minutes after this. Our order was a chicken cutlet sandwich, a cheesesteak, and fries. Everything was poor quality and looked like it had been rushed, because it had been.
