First time trying a Philly Roast Pork, and it was absolutely delicious! Juicy and tasty topped with the broccoli rabe and long hots. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Philadelphia.
Great sandwiches especially the pork sandwich with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. Charlie's has seating indoors and outdoors. They also have draft beer and a large selection of bottle or can beer. There are also lots of TVs inside and outside to watch the game.
On October 19th, we celebrated a birthday/retirement party at Charlie’s. Joe the owner assisted in selecting a menu for the evening. The roast pork and beef sandwiches were delicious, the pasta was a welcome dish, the the eggplant parmesan was divine. Went back for second and thirds! Great atmosphere, well ventilated, the staff was professional, friendly and helpful. There were a extensive selection of beers. We had a wonderful evening dancing to the music on the jukebox.
