Super quick service, good prices and delicious flavors. I got the pina colada but there are so many more flavors, it was super good, definitely recommend! It’s the perfect amount of sweet and refreshing on a hot day. The people were super nice and welcoming to me when it was my first time there.

Chuck's really good homemade water ice

Awesome spot for water ice & ice cream. The main flavors: mango, cherry, green apple, pineapple, strawberry lemonade, blueberry, watermelon, & chocolate are always available. They rotate special flavors: Candy Fish (Swedish fish) was delicious!

I got a quart of chocolate takeout, & candy fish regular for the road! I will be coming back often?

We came into town for a Phillies game. Being from the south, we had never heard of water ice, so we wanted to check it out. We got a Mango and Strawberry lemonade....OMG!! Best thing ever! We also got some Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. Service was great. We love South Philly!

Cute and Polite. New to the neighborhood? Make this your first stop. Chucks Homemade Water ice is a local favorite. Serving a number of homemade treats. Everything was good and served with a smile. I felt welcome. The chocolate shake was cold and rich. My pizza pretzel was hot and gooey. My friend had a red water ice, it was the best I ever had. It will be hard not to stop by every day.

I mean, it's just SO good. Be prepared, you will wait in line. But it's so worth it. I'll be honest; not being from Philly, I didn't 'get' Water Ice. For the first year and a half I lived here I was like meh. Then I had Chuck's. And now? Now I know. I get it. The Watermelon will hold a place inside my soul until the day I die. It's so good. If you want REAL Water Ice, GOOD Water Ice, go to Chuck's!
