Normally this place is my go to. The food is usually very good and the staff is friendly and inviting. I do also call to find out the specials of the day so that I can grab and take food home as well. Today I called and Taniqua answered the phone and was EXTREMELY RUDE when I asked the dinner specials. They normally have 5 or 6 specials every night so when she only mentioned 1 special I asked her if that was the only special and she hung up on me. I immediately called back and she answered again and I explained that they normally have several and that I didn't hear the rest. She again repeated the same 1 special. She was very rude and disrespectful. Made me not want to order from there again and I've been going to this diner for over 30 years. I hope they read this review and speak with Taniqua about her attitude towards their customers. I'm sure they will loose a lot more business if she continues to work there.

On recommendation from my future landlord, We stopped by 2/17. Coming from NY, this diner was not up to my expectations. The menu was VERY basic, the daily specials were non-existent, and the atmosphere was dead. Our server wasn't as helpful as we'd expected from a relatively empty Diner. Next time we're in NE Philadelphia, this won't be our destination for a meal.

Enjoyed our meal but for 3 people eating at a diner, we spent almost 98.00 crazy.

I’m really not happy with my experience today at Country Club Diner. My order was simple, a medium well done hamburger with tomato, onions, and an egg over medium. I wasted half of my lunch, driving to pick it up, and even gave a tip for what I expected to be what I ordered. When I returned to work, my order had lettuce, that I did not order, tomato, and onions, and no egg. When I called to inform them that I did not receive what I ordered, the person on the phone quickly said, let me see if they charged you for it. I didn’t really care if they charged me for it, what I cared about was getting a hamburger with tomato, onions, and an egg! Although she apologized, she did not offer to rectify the situation. I’m sure some people are saying, why complain over something so small, but my point is if you can’t get A small order like this right, why would I want to order anything more?

I’m not ashamed to give negative reviews. If my experience wasn’t good I’m going to mention it. I order 3 platters to go. Turkey bacon sandwich on Rye turkey sausage on bagel and turkey sausage on McMuffin. The bagel wasn’t good at all…the McMuffin sandwich came with the eggs and sausage all over the platter. Presentation wasn’t good. Only thing that was some what okay was the hashbrowns that’s all. I’m damn near neighbors to this Diner, and this the second time I’m disappointed. $50 that could’ve went elsewhere. I was better off dining at Tiffany’s or Four Seasons Diner.

Excellent diner food here coffee is great as well exclamation point you will find absolutely fresh baked pastries and cakes here.

Try the Strawberry Shortcake original Danish. There's lots more than that but those two are excellent thank you very much for the kind hospitality and the many many years of service there in Northeast Philadelphia
